Hard to believe Keith Edwards didn't get in the 4th division team and that Deano didn't get in either the 3rd or 2nd division team.

And if anyone needed a reminder of how good TC was ......

Indeed. Other surprises looking at that for me were no Holdsworth in 96/97, and no Borbokis in 97/98.

But he's rubbish! I've read it on here!

PFA? What can an association made up solely of Championship Professional footballers know about....erm....football!!!

We went up second in 89/90 and none of our players made the side

Tracy
Bryson
Deane

Should all have got in that season.

Very good season and well deserved for being at the top of the scoring charts this year. He’s exceeded expectation so very chuffed for him.

I’ll take cover, but I still think we need to replace him as our main striker next season, but he’s definitely still be in the squad. Probably the only one of our strikers that should be

Hard to believe I know, but no Rhodes? You pay a fortune and what do you get, a penalty-phobic, overly precious wage thief. Makes you wonder if there's anyone over at the sty who can recognise talent when it's available.

Surprised we didn't get a couple more edged in. Anyone know what the near misses were?

Whats with all the shit the guys done a great job for us even when he has an off game his work rate never lets us down LEON LEON LEON UTB

Well done Leon. Really is deserved.

Only one i'd question on there is the GK. Ruddy is a good keeper no doubt but sometimes it does seem like they're picked because they were part of the best team in the league rather than being the actual best goalkeeper.

That Brian blessed is an oinker,I’ve seen e few of his comments before-never played a decent standard of football and talks out of his sphincter!

He was man of the match against Brentford 1st game of season and had a spectacular scoring start that was always going to fade away.

His work rate is great apart from the odd games and he’s a real handful for defenders.

Found himself amongst the goals again recently,

Doesn’t hide when things aren’t going right.

It's important to remember a lot of the votes will come from opposition defenders - Leon has never given them a minutes rest.

Well deserved!

Harsh on Deane, especially in the 3rd division, but he was beaten by Agana (they scored 30 a piece that season and I think Agana was seen as the better all round striker) and Steve Bull who scored just about every week.

thought the Aston Villa lad was the best ..

We often criticise our players for not taking chances, but we have to realise we bought Clarke from 150k from a soon to be League 2 club and he’s the joint 2nd highest scorer. He’s competing with players who are ten years younger and literally worth 10-20 times more than him, and he’s showing no difference in quality. Regardless where we finish we should really take a step back and admire how far we and our players have come.
