Invaluable experience he’s getting, if we get promoted he’ll definitely attract attention from championship clubs. Got a bright future

Exactly. If he goes from playing every week back to 2nd/3rd reserve, I don't think he's going to stick around...I think all of us agree he needs a bit of a break but I'm not sure he does....he looked furious when he was subbed off at Sunderland and sat in the bench with a face like thunder. He's definitely got the right attitude !
I quite like Davies, I'm hoping he's playing himself into form for the 2nd half of the season. Clearly the big risk is he breaks down again as he's not played for 2 years now he's playing twice a week!Exactly. Would much rather take the bumps with him, than have poppadom legs Tom Davies playing ahead of him....
I think sadly it's just a matter of time with him! Best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour, and his injury track record suggests he'll be due another lengthy spell on the sidelines soon ....I quite like Davies, I'm hoping he's playing himself into form for the 2nd half of the season. Burrows owes him a pint or twoFantastic outing from the young man. Tackled owt that moved!
I`ve heard a rumour that they were all fathered by the "Duracell" bunny and raised on a diet of old school red fruit pastilles and ribena.Love to know how many miles Peck, Davies and Ohare put in today. Some serious work rate between them
Signed a new deal last season didn't he?I hope the club are working on a new contract with him. He signed one recently but as a promising young player. Due to the circumstance, he's now a regular.
It's very likely that he'll kick on next season (like Arblaster did after his first year) and as Wilder frequently notes he's not short of confidence. I would expect someone not short of confidence to maybe look for a better move should his game time be curtailed when players are back. This will be doubly so if he's earning a lot less than other senior players.
Nah thats bollocks. You’ll never win anything with kids….As some people are calling our current batch of youth our own class of 92, should we call them our "Class of 24"?
Arblaster, Peck, Seriki, Brooks.
I know all four of them had appearances for us pre-2024, but it could be argued that 2024 was the year they all kicked on and forced their way into our team.
I've not included Oné and Marsh as they haven't had the impact or played the amount of games the other four lads have played.
Thoughts?
First contract though. I suspect je's on a lot less than everyone bar Brooks/Seiki who are squad regulars.Signed a new deal last season didn't he?
Fair enough, should hopefully sort another contract out for him, any idea of how long his current contract is for.First contract though. I suspect je's on a lot less than everyone bar Brooks/Seiki who are squad regulars.
On a day when the lads have shown massive bollox and gave everything for the shirt it's a shame you have to make comments like thisI think sadly it's just a matter of time with him!
