Love to know how many miles Peck, Davies and Ohare put in today. Some serious work rate between them
That's the thing. Those players can be the engine room around Vini, who doesn't have the stamina but has the calmness.

On a day when the lads have shown massive bollox and gave everything for the shirt it's a shame you have to make comments like this
Fucks sake. Check when i posted that....

There's also several posts from last season when i went in on JLT and Anel. Do you want to drag those up too???

Shame you have to make comments like that.

Gave the ball away a couple of times in bad areas, just like at Sunderland.

That said, he's had a ridiculous work load for a lad that wouldn't have expected to play at all this season. So much talent, so much heart, and he's a shithouse.

Great performance from Peck today. He's improved his defensive work massively. People should note that he was always playing an attacking RCM in a 5-3-2 in our youth team and he's had to adapt, especially after the injuries to Arblaster and Souza. He's had to hold back and back track more, and be more conservative with his passing. There's more to come from him creatively. I like how he often gets a toe on the ball in tight situations where he's often second favourite for it.

Also seem to celebrate goals as much as the scorer! I expect a somersault from him when he gets an assist, let alone when he gets his first goal.

The great man in your profile pic would have loved him.

Fair does I did think you had posted that straight after the match and I apologise unreservedly

When Sydie does get his first goal (hopefully at at the lane) the ref may as well just add 5 mins stoppage time for his celebration as soon as the ball hits the net. Live him, the (not so little) shithouse terrier.

Love the lad, pity he couldn't have got on the end of that O'hare pass and bagged a goal late on.
A lot more to come from him,he looks knackered at times, but still keeps going to the end.

He will only get better and better as he becomes less reckless in giving away daft fouls. I think he’s got a really good career ahead of him in the top flight. An old school David Batty type player who can play a bit too.
Hope he gets the chance to do it with us and that we are able to give him the time and patience needed.
That said, once Vini is fit, I think that Peck is behind him and Davies to start regularly.

Serious knee surgery.

Playing full 90s back to back to back in his first season of men's football, at the top of the Championship.

This kid is an absolute animal.

I love him 😍
Ludlow, Id completely forgotten about that! Makes his performances even more remarkable and must give Blaster a lot of hope for a full recovery

Depending on transfers and injuries Peck could find that he is not in the starting eleven by the end of the month, it will be interesting how he takes that and how Wilder deals with that. But the thing is that anybody coming in will have to be on it 100% cos Peck will be pushing hard to get back on the pitch. Can only good for us!

If we get promoted I can easily imagine Souza, Arblaster, Davies, Peck and at least one other high quality signing to be competing for 2 starting places. Which will be interesting. But his experience this season will at least allow Peck to compete for a place. I think he would be an infrequent starter though, and I hope that given his age he would accept that, for a season at least.

He’s really is an all rounder, has tenacity, work rate, vision and technical ability already good enough to hold his own in a team fighting for promotion to the premier league. He’ll be the first player in my eyes to benefit from the evolution that’s going on tactically at the club, mixing hardwork, grit and graft with technical ball playing skills.

Once he’s cuts out some of his unforced errors he’ll be a top quality premier league player. The above will come with experience. What a player!

My fave thing is that Peck is going to get his first league goal away, get sent off for celebrating, and we're gonna sing his name until we finish pissing on a motorway services.

Swansea away, I reckon. I'm going to go 0-3 with Peck brace. Fuck it

He's dropping deep and taking the ball off of his centre halves and to keep us ticking and get us moving.

Normally that's the kind role much more experienced central midfielders tend to play

Just hope we can keep hold of him. He's a confident arrogant kid, deservedly so. Could end up being an S2 legend

There's going to be a right headache for the manager when Arblaster is fit. Not to mention fitting Souza and Davies into the midfield as well
