Craig Beattie was poor, as has been said, Akinbadbuy was indeed, a bad buy, scoring for fun until he signed for us, but he did score against the unclean, and for that reason alone, he cannot, by the full weight of the law of Bramall Lane, be on a worst strikers list (he can be on a waste of money list though.)

Marcus Bent, 2nd time, hadn't scored a goal in about three years when we took him, seemed genuinely shot shy, panicked when the ball came near him, totally lost his nerve, some sort of mental block.

Marlon King, legs had gone, knees were shot and he is/was an utter , utter piece of shit as a human being.

Signed by Stockport when Brendan Ellwood was the chairman . Paul Williams married his daughter and the rest is history . WBA paid top dollar in transfer and wages for him . It would be interesting to see who WBA worst striker was . What's the betting on it being Paul Williams .

It was the only good game I can recall him have, where Tonge played an excellent through ball to him an he slotted it home in front of the Kop.

That aside, I do not have fond memories of him.
