Wayne Alison was good for us.
Iffy Onhoura on the other hand...

Wayne 'The Chief' Alison.
You're a lucky man indeed if he is the worst you've ever seen. Scored against the pigs and one of the best 'bustlers' around, for want of a better word. Not the most talented but you can get Chief miles away from this thread!Wayne 'The Chief' Alison.
The worst for me...
Craig Beattie, who while he had movement to create a chance was one of the worst finishers I've seen.
David Johnson, who I was really looking forward to seeing play but seemed a shadow of his previous self in his brief loan spell.
Barry Hayles, who while his career before and after showed he was decent, was just appalling in the small number of games he played.
Andy Campbell, whose pace meant he could get opportunities but he was all pace and nothing else – awful finisher.
Marcus Bent v2 probably tops the lot, on the basis that his outright shitness probably had the most damaging effect compared to the rest mentioned above.
Campbell wasn't bad. For the worst I think I've seen....step forward Paul Williams the Irish lad who was beyond awful.
I once saw him trying to score from about 3 yards out in front of the kop, ball fairly stationary and it was the proverbial tap in. The lad managed to miss the ball, spin himself round and fall flat on his arse with no one within 10 yards of him. It might have cost us goal but sometimes you just have to appreciate that you have just witnessed something special, even if this special event was special in a spectacularly bad sense. To a man every one on the kop pissed themselves laughing.
Ive seen some tripe in my time watching the Blades and Barry Butlin and a good few others were total bollox, but our Paul takes the honours imo. Utter wank he was.
Marlon king, fresh air thief.

This lad Pedro Verde has got to be up there with the worst of them.

Shaun miller deserves a mention although i suppose he was bought on potential, turned out he had none. For me higdon and sammon were both equally shite.

Again, Miller is not one of the worst strikers we've had.
He was pretty lively for us before he got injured.

Far rom one of the worst we've had, but definitely near the top of the "overrated by our own fans" league.I cannot believe you have such an opinion of Shaun, surely the late goal at Fulham and the late goal v Port Vale are enough to keep him from your scorn?
Connor Sammon has got to be right up there.
Barry Hayles, Ian Rush, Peter Withe, John Cofie, Luton Shelton, Chris Porter......

You say that, but how many strikers have failed miserably in the lower leagues four us?Chris porter - there are many many more before him in the list, he was crap though but not crap crap
4 in 30 - clapper
Fulham goal was the only thing he ever did for us. He was naff
Given that he got 8 in 19 appearances before getting injured for us - I dunno where your stats are coming from.
I think he was a good player for us pre injury and suited the way we played. Just wasn't the same player afterwards.
Now Onoura, Hayles and Sammon were unmitigated shite with no redeeming features
