I normally park in a company car park off Headford Street on match days but, on Sunday 29 December 2013, thought that it would be permissible to park on a single yellow line on thomas Street (back of Stokes). Cutting a long story short, I got a parking ticket because it's in a CPZ but went to a telephone tribunal and heard back last week that I had won - reason being that Sheffield CC failed to prove that signage was adequate (the only sign that I passed was at the Brook Hill roundabout!). Just mentioning in case any of you have received a ticket in that area - worth appealing.
