Is that based on actual facts? I'd say the closer you get to the window closing, the more expensive players get as desperation takes hold. At least earlier in the window, clubs have a chance to replace their outgoing players.
There's no doubt a sweet spot.
Wilder has said repeatedly!I don't think thats a lesson. Think thats just obvious.
However there are many factors, some controllable, some not, that impact on the ability to do so.

Agreed.Eh? In this market, you're only getting your business done early by paying over the odds. These teams aren't gradually inflating the asking price over time.
Maybe, who knows what Swansea will deal at.18m gets him.
Stump it or go home.
Maybe, who knows what Swansea will deal at.
McBurnie is their most expensive asset now though and with the James money in the bank they have a bit of breathing space.Theyve admitted previously they need funds
Harry Maguire £80m Lewis fucking Dunk £45m![]()

So little Brentford and little Swansea say fuck off when the big dogs come calling.
McCabe bends over.
Maybe we just needed the money much, much more than they do nowSo little Brentford and little Swansea say fuck off when the big dogs come calling.

Let's not look forward eh?
Why not rake up a bit of old muck and stick the boot in to the club.

Not true!
We never make annual losses as we all know all wages are paid by the money tree.
Seen as he plugs a five to ten million financial gap every year he probably feels entitled toSo little Brentford and little Swansea say fuck off when the big dogs come calling.

Not superior, just see a different picture.Stupid response.
Nothing to do with Wilder.
Accept the truth.
I've praised the club this morning for its excellent pr but you ignore that.
People like you are boring. Think they're superior.

And owning a football club costs limitless funds.
Can't do it then don't own one. It isn't obligatory.
Why would we go down because we sold players in the past ?His perogative.
But then he can't bleat when we come straight back down and Wilder walks into a great role at an ambitious prem club.
Not superior, just see a different picture.
As we seem to have made a loss every season since Methuselah was a kid, how else do we keep going without every now and again selling players?
So if McCabe hadn't stepped in after McDonald, what would your masterplan have been then?
