2 great kits of the era … Palace at home 78/79 season .. I think they got a crowd of 51k at Selhurst Pk for there last home game of that season against Burnley to get promoted who would have thought Palace pulling that attendance , they had a good side under Venables

Yes, Woody's last home game for us. I was supposed to be back at my boarding school to start my sixth year but my dad told the headmaster that we were still "on a family holiday" so that I could watch the Liverpool, River Plate and Palace home games.
