I think it was always said that if you'd a record to sell she'd say there wasn't much demand for it, lots of them available and offer the lowest price.

Conversely if you wanted to buy a record she'd tell you that it was rare and very much in demand. Selling to you at the highest price.
Usually the same record.

Mid 1920s . Billy Gillespie, Fred Tunstall, Harold Pantling, Tommy Sampy, Harry Johnson, Tommy Boyle, George Green, Jimmy Waugh, Bill Cook, Seth King, Ernest Milton, Len Birks, Albert Partridge and David Mercer
For once, I think you have it completely wrong. It's Butlin's Skegness knobbly knees final. Some serious competitors there...

I've got these 3 to hand XM657. Maybe more in my filing system somewhere ...

Dont suppose you have any pictures of the building next to the Dog and Partridge Andingmen ? Further up next to the new building the was a lane which led to a courtyard and this was owned and surrounded by the building I mean. It was Walsh's/Rackhams warehouse , all 5 floors were full of merchandise ,you can see a settee piled up against a window on the 2nd floor. The building was massive ,I worked there for 5 years ,best time of my life.
