Are there dates for these two photos? I just have no memory of the white building at all.
In your other photo they seem to be showing Pal Joey, which was 1957.No date, but the Cinema House was closed and then demolished in 1961. Late 50s at a guess for that pic

BEA FLIGHTS HALVED
Usually the same record.I think it was always said that if you'd a record to sell she'd say there wasn't much demand for it, lots of them available and offer the lowest price.
Conversely if you wanted to buy a record she'd tell you that it was rare and very much in demand. Selling to you at the highest price.
Must have been in the job description that all newspaper sellers had to dress like that ?
For once, I think you have it completely wrong. It's Butlin's Skegness knobbly knees final. Some serious competitors there...Mid 1920s . Dont suppose you have any pictures of the building next to the Dog and Partridge Andingmen ? Further up next to the new building the was a lane which led to a courtyard and this was owned and surrounded by the building I mean. It was Walsh's/Rackhams warehouse , all 5 floors were full of merchandise ,you can see a settee piled up against a window on the 2nd floor. The building was massive ,I worked there for 5 years ,best time of my life.I've got these 3 to hand XM657. Maybe more in my filing system somewhere ...
