It's the Salvation Army Citadel on Cross Burgess Street...
Grade II listed..
Alas, it's most likely never to be used in any capacity.

Lovely!
Me late as per usual...
West Ham's Eamonn Dolan had to quit the game in 1993 after developing cancer and passed away 2 years ago
Anyone got a photo of the old Harlequin chip shop on Howard street?
A real Sheffield institution it was, and a compulsory visit prior to going to the Lane. Best fish and chips in Sheffield imo.
A take-away out front with a little dining room (cafe) at the back and a steep flight of stairs leading to further dining rooms upstairs.
Tea served in pewter tea-pots which were boiling hot to hold and never poured cleanly, served with a little tea-strainer, and bread and “butter” (marg actually) on the thinnest white sliced bread, one and a half slices per serving.
Eccentric serving staff, mainly middle aged/elderly ladies in white smocks, and the affable owner, Bill Green, who used to roar “CHIPS!” (or fish) whenever a freshload came out of the pan.

Gadzooks! The very one! Many thanks! Lovely memories!
