Here's one for Silent (and I don't know the answer). Where's that photo taken?
Maybe?
My thoughts were out in peak district somewhere. Occasionally in the 60's they broke away from usual routine for FA cup games and went for walks and training in Derbyshire.
John Harris used to take them down Padley George for their walk then to The Maynard for steak and eggs for lunch. Soft drinks or a cup of tea afterwards.
Great detective work there.just woke up and remembered the '3D' google earth option .... here is the back of the building, largely unchanged , the place next door looks like a nursing home and its been greatly added to since 1965 ....

We signed Bert Menlove in March 1922. 1922-23 was Bill Brelsford's and Albert Surgess' last season for us so the photo would have been taken in 1922

The tunnel looks rather a bit narrow? Is the photo taken in front of the old John Street stand, before the Luftwaffe did its demolition job,the players tunnel back right?
Walter Hoyland's profile in SUFC's Who's Who doesnt state that he is related to Tommy/JamieIs Walter Hoyland any relation to Tommy/Jamie? If so, that would be some achievement to have 3 generations of the same family playing for the same club.
