Yes, Jimmy Waugh who was unlucky not to play in the 1925 FA Cup Final, he had a neck injury. Played over 100 games as our centre back but struggled to cope with the new offside rule introduced in the 1925-26 season.

Yes, reckon photo was taken in early 1920s.
 
Silent Blade Difficult when there isn't another photo to compare. I have a couple of team photos from early 1920, but I don't see an obvious match for these two.

Won FA Cup medal for both 1915 and 1925. Carried on living in Hebburn throughout his playing career but moved to Sheffield after retiring to football as he ran a shop at , I think, Abbeydale Road
