Why didn't we get the right players in at the start of the season if the money was always there?

Amazing how 24 hours can turn years of misery on its head. Let's not rewrite history because we have had some awful transfer windows but this really does seem like we are starting afresh. I have been one to be scathing of the lack of ambition from the board previously. I am pleased to have my argument knocked into a cocked hat. The game has changed and it is utterly clear that Clough totally has the support and backing of the board.

Now Clough has nowhere to go if we aren't successful. He has almost all the players, he has investment above any other club in this division and he now has to prove he can assemble the team to win games in the league.

I am very happy to have been proved wrong. I am very happy to think that the last 24 hours shows everyone at SUFC is pulling in the same direction. As fans I think we all have to respond and do the same.

Ditto to that post Bladesway what is not really needed is the posts from some of the happy chaps boasting how they have now been proven to be correct all along and anyone critical of the club is a NBW, single cell or even a twat for thinking otherwise. They really should think on before posting as they have been wrong for going on 7 years that is why we find ourselves enjoying our fourth season in league one finishing every season lower than the previous one. It is a pity the ultra positive intelligentsia can't enjoy the moment for what it is, it is obvious to anyone there has been a change of some sort at the lane but some have to moan at something even if it is fellow fans.

Propably right,although he's nothing to do with 2 RB's and a CM in which we've just signed,so i don't think that necessarily answers the question mate.
