The level of delusion currently being shown by our porky neighbours from S6 has reached a new level so it’s high time if you know and care about one of the S6 deluded you have a word in their ear and give them some home truths at this festive time of year. It’s the right thing to do. it’s come to the point they aren’t just a laughing stock - it’s more serious than that. So the caring sharing blades amongst us need to take it upon ourselves to do “good”. Help the deluded this Christmas.
Firstly although it feels cruel if you have a spare few minutes sit with them and make them watch the three goals whilst gently pointing out that the ones scoring were in red and white which thus means they didn’t win. It may be hard and they may look shocked but don’t be put off your mission.
Secondly show them images from the 1980s of the Sty and of BDTBL and compare and contrast with the same images today. Yes they may argue that they do indeed have a hotel (bizarrely some claim the Alara B&B just outside the Sty is their hotel) but persevere. We have to reach them somehow.
Thirdly talk to them about what “going into administration” actually means. It isn’t something to celebrate and just because the administrator wears a blue and white scarf and was sat amongst the piggies yesterday doesn’t mean that suddenly billions are going to drop from the sky for them to spend on the likes of Erling Haaland.
Finally, and I think this could really help save a pig this Christmas, the money they are spending in the club shop isn’t going to go towards a new coat of paint for their ramshackle ground - every penny will be going to pay off their debts - and say this part loudly if you can as they need to hear it - chansiri will be getting a big portion of it as he is indeed a creditor.
This may be our only chance to save a pig from going down the path to total and utter delusion. Please save them. You know it makes sense particularly at this time of year.
