Today been linked with Hull and QPR. Surely the type of striker we should be looking at, although I'm not sure how much he would cost. Still only 25 years old so shouldn't be at his peak yet and is French and quick, exactly the type of player we need.

Hasn't he been at Wolves for a few years? If so I imagine his wages would far exceed our ceiling.

Yeah, exactly the type of player we need. Probably beyond us... Hull and QPR though, ffs.

On a permanent, I doubt it. On loan, it might be possible.

I'd be happy if we signed him or Joe Mason on loan from Wolves. They do want to sign another striker so they could both be available.

QPR might be loaded, but Fernandes hasn't put much money in since he was Burnt by Redknapp.

Perhaps not in terms of transfer fees, but the likes of Nedum Onuoah, Jamie Mackie & Steven Caulker won't be cheap to pay. They still have the financial clout to spunk £5 million on the likes of Dicko without batting an eyelid IMO, something we don't appear to be willing to do.

For the record, wouldn't pay more than £2 million for Dicko & I think we should be looking at better IMO. He's scored the total of 4 goals in his last 2 and a bit seasons at Wolves, which is dogger!

Not half the player he was before the bad injury he had. Pace and strength were his main attributes, not anymore. Not saying he's slow, but he's unrecognisable from the player he was.

And that's the end of that chapter..

Thank fuck for that. Lost the couple yards of pace that gave him Kabba like stature due to a career threatening injury. But the most damning stat; 21 goals in 4 seasons!!!!!

Gone to Hull. Not really the type of player I think we'd be looking for anyway.

A lot would have taken him a few years ago. Not so sure now.

Good player, was pleased when he didnt start. Then again him coming on early maybe worked out better for us; him on fresh with 15 to go would have been a handful. Thought he looked dangerous, but never had the support. Definitely a case of a player who’d do far better in a more suitable system. Sometimes players go stagnant at clubs and need a change; look at McGoldrick. Still only 26, so hardly past it. One to keep an eye on going towards January.

Scored 9 in 32 on loan at Blackpool in the Championship, got 5 in 5 on a brief loan at Rotherham in L1, then got 31 in 94 for Wolves across a season in L1 and then the Championship. Currently got 4 in 37 for Hull since signing last year. But given the state theyve been in, it might br fair to excuse him a bit. So apart from this last year, he’s been a 1 in 3 average at this and the level below.

Was great for me on football manager. Fired us all the way to champions league..

Gerrim in!

We were saying he'd be worth a bid in January. Just what we need and the sort of player Wilder likes. Wouldn't be too expensive and would give us that much needed pace up front. He made Hull look much more dangerous than with Campbell.

Agree that he has the pace to cause problems. The sort of player you leave up front on his own (if needs be).

I was shouting from the rooftops for us to sign him last season.

Very good player, had one chance brilliantly saved by Henderson and the other when he was offside he put straight into the top corner. With better service he'd be lethal like he was at Wolves.

He'd be a huge improvement on Washington in January for more than likely not much output - I imagine he'll force the move just to get out of Hull - what a shithole.

Perfect signing for us. Fast and strong. Can play in the box or create his own chances.

Gerrim in
