Way I look at it is, there’s loads of really good tunes that no one ever put words to. Take Beethoven for example. He knocked out some crackin’ tunes but when it came to lyrics he hadn’t got a bloody clue. Neil Sedaka and Burt Bacharach would have knocked him into a cocked hat on that front. These wannabe “songwriter” Blades could do far worse than put some footy lyrics to Beethoven or summat like that. It would be original and well received by us Classic FM listeners!

I only got into Beethoven after watching “The Clockwork Orange” myself. That was very rousing!
