No. Not at all. There are some good ones, although very few are original. Most are based on tunes from donkey’s years ago. And every club’s supporters sing the same tunes, with slightly different words. It’s a copycat society.

What I do find a bit sad is this urge that some folk seem to have to invent a new one. It would be great if they could come up with something original, but they rarely do. And when they can’t even make the syllables fit the original tune it’s even worse.

But it’s harmless enough. I just don’t understand why it’s so important for some folk?

I’m happy enough to hum or tap my foot to them. Probably an age thing!
