Leeds is a shithole.
They have, the inability for some to buy tickets. You'd still like to think that with £100 million of TV money flowing through the accounts that they'd like to give the fans something back.
Didn't Hudderfield do something when they got promoted
We are big time now and with that comes big outlook.
Gentlemen, be seated and let the matter drop....And having a shit is free
Ow much?????I looked on Palace site earlier 78 quid for a ticket, ours are dirt cheap side of that.
I know someone who watched the Bournemouth match Satdeh that way, and listened to Radio Sheffield's commentary. Radio was 90 seconds in front of the stream.Sit at home and illegally stream then tight cunt !

There’s got to be a reason that Sheffield performs really poorly on the league table of Northern cities in terms of investment, tourism, employment etc. I think it’s linked to how generally tight people are.
I worked on a cocktail bar at Tramlines festival a few weeks ago, and it was by far the quietest bar on the whole site. People were literally walking up, seeing the prices and laughing in our faces. I know it’s not cheap but I’ve worked at festivals all over the country and never had a reaction like that.
Enjoyed reading that and yes Sheffield people are reticent to change, we are a glass half empty people I don't think we're tight, more careful. I'd like to add to that if there was a beer tent there surely cocktails wouldn't get a look in, to me Manchester is too busy and no matter what anyone says Leeds is a shithole.
If a club doesn’t spend much and has little ambition....then agree it’s greed to charge more.
But if a club is ambitious...wanting to improve a training ground...improve stadium...pay big wages out to players...then it’s a joint effort,
The board should show ambition but also the fans need to show the same ambition instead of settling for the cheap option.
Still trying to ring some mileage out of poor ticket sales despite everything that’s been happening this week? There was no need to increase ticket prices and the reality that there are quite a few space invaders still left on the online ticket site tells its own story.
Ticket income is now an afterthought and it was just greed putting the prices up.
What went wrong when councillor Scrivens and the Lib Dems ran Sheffield council then ?
This is eerily close to the justifications Wednesday fans give for Meester Chansiri's outrageous pricing at the sty.
Whilst I'm not comparing the situations at the respective clubs, I do think it's a slippery slope once a fanbase stops questioning/challenging the ticket pricing and structure and simply stumps up regardless.
The reality is that £5-10 differences on a match day ticket can make a big difference to the affordability for some fans, but in the grand scheme of things makes sod all difference really to the club whilst it is in receipt of the funds the PL brings.
Wendy are being fleeced as fans of a tin-pot Championship club.Yes I am!
Wernt we one of the one of the clubs with the highest percentage of income due to ticket sales/ merchandise etc?
Don't you think the club should give a little back instead of tryin to fleece us Wendy style?
£10 to have the premier league crest on shirt
No 10% of at superstore etc etc
Wait till the new owners take over
This is just the start, if we stay up, another hike inevitable
But never mind eh?

We’ve pretty much sold out against Palace. We’ve previously regular ST holders who missed out this season, regular fans queuing for those held back as per the PL rules and it’s also a time of year where people are still traditionally on holiday.
The only reason we haven’t sold out before today is due to the ticketing policy which was to try and reward those with points and stop daytrippers
Whatever your thoughts on it’s success against the aims, there is clearly a very high demand which wouldn’t be helped by subsidising away fans, especially when it wouldn’t be reciprocated for our fans away. Given all the evidence we have to hand, it would seem pricing is pretty much bang on and cheaper than most in our league.
'In the soundbite, from last year, he says: 'We could charge more than £104. Let's say we charged £300. We'd get £2m more in income but what's £2m to us?
'In a transfer discussion you argue about that sum for five minutes. But the difference between £104 and £300 is huge for the fan.
'We do not think the fans are like cows, who you milk. Football has got to be for everybody.
'That's the biggest difference between us and England.'
I think you'll find that Leeds and Manchester both have Labour councils. The difference is that they have vision.Labour have fucked Sheffield into the ground mate over decades. Why would you invest somewhere where a visit to Town Hall as a private company is guaranteed to be about as friendly a reception as me streaking at Hillsborough in an SUFC hat?
Leeds and Manchester, from an economic perspective, are now decades ahead. With that comes lots of good quality jobs, companies, etc.
Oh I know you'll assure me mate but don't like the place, love Sheffield but for some strange reason (Labour) it's stagnated and they're doing it up 30 years too late.I can assure you it isn't
Then why mention the spaces specifically in the case you were trying to make?Nothing to do with messing up the ticket sales.
It's about clubs, including us, charging people far too much to watch a game of football particularly when TV income will be many tens of millions more than ticket income.
There was no need to increase ticket prices and the reality that there are quite a few space invaders still left on the online ticket site tells its own story.

If your point is that all PL teams should cap ticket prices at say £25, I’d suggest most would agree with you.
