Yes the fans stuck with the club but when you love a club unconditionally it's what people do, some of us have seen even darker days than you. If I'm being totally honest I don't think United ripping fans off, they are just competing with market forces. The fans have stuck with this club through the dark ages in League One and have arguably kept it afloat (someone who knows the accounts well can correct me), and I would have thought some of the super huge money we've got from TV/sponsorship deals could/would be set aside to freeze prices or at the very least not to rip people off.
Yes they may seem to have done it all at once but, I'm sick of us being a "nice" club that wins now't let's be ruthless it's dog eat dog out there when teams come to BDTBL let them be scared of coming.
We've not dined at the "top table" often enough in my lifetime and I probably won't see another promotion, yes they handled the tickets badly but the ticket office is renowned for this. All you fans that can go then go, and on Sunday sing loud and proud I'll be sat on sofa as I say but I'll have a tear in me eye.
Years ago my ex wife said to me "you think more of United than me", I turned round and said "I think more of Wednesday than I do you". I and thousands have loved United all our lives and sadly, through more bad times than good that's why I hate to see kids in say Man Utd shirts you come from Sheffield you're either a Blade or a pig no in-between.
We've got our best manager and team in years let's not balls it up falling out with them over ticket's or the price of a programme or a pie & pint COYRAWW.
