Paul Heckingbottom has said he still wants one more coach.

Who would you like to see join the group?

I'd love it to be Nick Montgomery.

For me this is a key appointment.

Introducing overlapping centre backs was unique but there simply can't be much if anything more to be found about football that hasn't already been found.

Perhaps football needs to take a leaf out of the NFL book - defensive/midfield/attacking coaches that specialise?

Overlapping goalkeepers, anyone?

With Jack Lester as a coach do we think he'll turn up to the Christmas and New Year fixtures? I remember he had a reputation for being ill or suspended so he could have Christmas off as a player.

We are still incredibly wasteful in the final 3rd. I would like an attacking coach who can teach attacking positioning, decision making and delivery. On the balance of play yesterday we should have scored more than 2. I'm not sure if such specialist coaches exist but that's what I think we need

Can't Jack Lester do that?

I'd definitely be sussing Basham out. He's proved himself (or maybe his position) vital in my opinion. If we intend to stick with what appears to get the best out of the rest of the squad then we're going to need a younger version of him sooner or later. If he's got any sort of inclination to coach I'd get him teaching some young 'uns his very specialised role.

Someone to inspire the young kids…a talent that’s been there and done it and who’s ability was clear to see.
we do t want an ex clogger, or a player who was limited ability but ran a lot!!

Let’s try and restrict this ex-player malarkey and look a bit bigger. Must be some top players about looking to move into coaching.
Jermaine Defoe types…not necessarily him but you get what I mean.

Anyone who’s really good and not a dick head. Don’t care where they’re from/what they’re called.

We need the phycologist back who we had in our promotion year to the prem.

So did I, Ricky Holmes look alike, always makes me smile, is he the kit man? or is it some bloke who hops over the wall and joins in and not been rumbled yet.
Guards them footballs with his life, always makes sure they all go back in his bin bag, good pre kick off entertainment watching him, didn't see him at half time yesterday though
Yes he's the kit man ,sheffield lad

Surely whoever it is will be a fitness and conditioning coach. Slav brought one in and I assume he's now left, right?

I don’t think there’s a chance Monty will ever comeback to the UK, he’s an Aussie citizen now and there for the long-term.
I was on the Central coast a couple of years ago, certainly preferable to snowy Sheffield yesterday!

I thought the way Sharp carried out his press conference yesterday I thought it could be him. Jack Lester being on the staff possibly prevents this as I presume he's the attacking coach.

I think we're becoming Roy Keane's 'job for the boys' comment yesterday.

I covered their specific roles on Sheff United Way YouTube channel but in case you haven't yet had time to watch the award winning broadcasts: Jack Lester is head of player development and Stuart McCall is the new assistant manager.

Position specific coaches does not look like the order of the day, apart from goalkeeper with Matt Duke remaining in his role.

Thank you that's very kind. I mention it in the Fans Forum I believe but these videos blur together. I wasn't supposed to be doing both of them but we blame Nick for that!
