With Leicester going back down to Championship, should we perhaps consider a move for Ndidi, thought he was older but he's only 28.

Not been a good season for Leicester but on his day he always seems to have something about him for a defensive midfielder, got premier league experience as well.

Could he be a decent option?

Signed a new contract through 2027 this summer. Reportedly on 75 grand a week. Makes zero sense as an attempted permanent deal and I see no reason why Leicester would consider a loan which doesn't involve us paying a very large percentage of his wages. If we were to loan someone on "enormous" wages in the event of promotion it needs to be a striker, if we learned anything from last season it's that having some legitimate form of PL level goal threat is a requirement, not a nice to have

Didn't realise he'd signed a new contract in the summer.

Though with all the talk about them facing sanctions from the EFL (from last season), I wonder if they might have to sell some of their higher earners in the summer, especially with 2 years left on his deal.

I've barely seen him play for a few years. But he was heading for the England squad before his bad injury.

Seems unrealistic. Though, again, I've not seen him play much recently. When they first signed him he was superb in the Prem. That was probably 5 or 6 years ago - was getting linked with the rich boys of the league.
