According to
@BladesRumours: RUMOUR: @TheTransferLad reporting that Bradford have accepted an offer from Sheffield United for Nakhi Wells.

Who the hell is he?

according to a few brady fans he is a pacey, skill full striker. They are hoping to keep hold of him so looks like a prospect.

have a look at these

The rumours been floating about for a week or so now but it turned out the rumour was started on twitter by a bradford fan that was taking the piss. not sure if anything mores come off it since then but i wouldnt go holding youre hopes up

33 appearences, 18 starts, scored 10 goals - Rated highly by the bratford massive it seems!

Not directly linked to us but I know a good few blades on here fancied a punt at him and to be honest I wouldn't have minded him at the lane myself as he looks a decent player, but anyway Blackburn are doing another Jordan Rhodes by looking to sign him in the January window according to various media sources.

1 good striker we will miss out on is window.

Think he is out of contract in the summer so Bradford now have no chance of keeping him. They will drop further in the league now

They must have some surplus cash in the kitty somewhere mate or at least you would think what with getting to the League Cup Final and all the TV money etc that came with that along with promotion in the same year via the play-offs.....got to have brought some moolah in that lot?.

So you would imagine that they have a few spendo's to bring a replacement in. Marlon King could well be the answer.....heard he might be available! :D

Does he offer enough, other than pace? To justify what could be a fee well in excess of £2m?

Ideally we want a quicker version of Billy. Fast, tricky goal scorer. I'm sure there will be one out there that fits in with our current recruitment strategy. We just have to find him.

How many players do you expect us to keep track of on here for God's sake!

Why afford him when we don't want him, Adrian littlejohn had pace but the only thing he brought to BDTBL was a song that we knicked from Man U about Ryan giggs

Had an excellent partnership with Hanson. In this market they'd probably want 10 million for him.

Of course we could.

Ched?

;)

Wagner says they haven't received any official bids for him yet but are willing to listen to serious offers, suppose that rules us out then.

He can score goals but he isn't that prolific at this level so I would only be willing to spend between £5m - £7m on him, if Hudders wanted more than that I'd tell them to fuck off. However that's the climate of the transfer market these days.

Scored 8 in 27 in a Premier League season, something which would probably give him a £10m pricetag these days. Also scored against the pigs and a brilliant winner v Liverpool. There are players that have contributed much, much less than him to be fair.
