Welcome to the forum.First post as a Leeds supporter.
Lived in Woodseats for 11 years. Always preferred Blades to the Owls and would watch them if I could not get to a Leeds game.
Born in Leeds and have followed them for many years.
Looking at Owlstalk and seeing the saga play out I think that this forum has been incredibly kind to them for not reveling in their incompetence.
Do you want them to go into administration or just remain as the second club in the city with no hope of getting above you?
I still have friends who support both clubs but the lack of vitriol on this site is amazing. Credit to you.
Always swings and roundabouts for us Sheffield team'sWelcome to the forum.
I’ve no real desire to see them go into admin or worse. The rivalry is good. If I’m honest I’m happy to be far enough ahead of them to remind them to hate us. Their delusion knows no bounds.
Never like derbies, always seems a distraction, which is obviously a contradiction as I like the banter and rivalry… I just don’t want to have to play them.
Ideally I’d like us to be always one division above them.
I hope they go bust tomorrow and we never have to hear of them again. Sod the rivalry, we can just tell the pigs that their team used to be shit! You know with them lot though it’d be 6 months before they were telling stories of how they used to be the Barcelona of England and that they averaged 60k at home every week. Weird people.I’m pretty sure I’m in the minority, but it wouldn’t bother me at all if the Pigs disappeared. I know some like the rivalry and all that, but I’d be quite happy for them to cease to exist. We could then focus all of our hatred on Leeds.
Finishing in a higher league position this centuryAlways swings and roundabouts for us Sheffield team's
Welcome, as you’ve probably already gathered in your time here most Unitedites don’t support the Blades because they think they’re a massive, all conquering giant of a football club. Yes, we’ve gained a few more entitled fans in recent years, but generally we are comfortable in our own skin and know where we sit in the football pyramid…Conversely! (chuckling) Wendy’s are the polar opposite, they’ve all been brought up to think they are the “oldest, biggest and most successful team in Sheffield, nay…Yorkshire, nay…England. (chuckles again) and the Premier league are all sat eagerly awaiting the return of t’Wensdi.First post as a Leeds supporter.

AyeMy old dad used to say the manager is usually the reason of how a team acts.
He hated revie with a passion .
Always used to say cloughie never had a chance
Hang on I'll get me ouija board outAye
Do you wonder what he’d make (makes?) of our current gaffer?
I quite like Farke. He is undoubtedly an oddball, and looks like Roger Federer’s swinger brother, but he likes to play good footy and knows how to win the Championship.Aye
