In the early seventies on the Shoreham there was a chant regarding "Mrs Hills Sausage Rolls", aparently they were the best, but I can never remember the rest of the chant, something to do with her husband. Antone out there remember the whole thing? Just asking like.
Also remember the "Bow Legged Chicken" one all the way through, both chants were around the time of "We aint got a barrel of money" and we still aint.

Oh , Mrs Hall, cheers for that, you don`t happen to know who Mrs Hall was?...........long shot I know.

I must say, I was on the kop back in the 1970's, in the days of "Winston" and "Eskimo" and I heard many rude songs, threw toilet rolls on the pitch and other objects like coins and bananas, but no, I have no recollection of Mrs Hill's or Mrs Hall's sausage rolls. Maybe we should start a new song about Pukka Pies? It shouldn't be too difficult to find a word to rhyme with Pukka surely?

I rather liked "Show them the way to go home, they're tired and they want to go to bed (for a walk) and they're only half a football team, compared to the boys in red". We don't hear this song now. Instead we just get this moronic "I wanna go home" from visiting fans (and our own moronic fans when we go away from home) to the tune of "Sloop John B" - the Beach Boys version produced by Brian Wilson - not the 1927 original soundtrack by Carl Sandburg from his "American Songbag" compilation of course.

Always thought and sang , to go to bed for a wank , silly me boy do I feel foolish now .

Googled, mrs halls sausage rolls, sad I know, but I'm I've been laid up in bed for a while now bored shitless. Anyway, up pops the same question, asked by a pig on one of their message boards in 2015. Perhaps it was them that started it. Sounds like something the pork would do. Edit, Asked on twitter not message board.

Of course the pigs will have started it, they will own the royalties for it. Just like every football song created.
They are the Simon Cowell of football songs.

Of topic slightly, but whenever Simon cowell gives his thoughts on any act that he quite likes, they are dismissed with a knowing wink of approval. At that point I just want to smash his face in. Not that I watch much of it of course.

Nearly got arrested in Turkey about 15 years ago. Sat pissed in the cockpit of my mates yacht in harbour and me and another lad started a sing song.
Decided to adapt Mrs Hall to Attaturk. Less than half a minute into the song th re were a couple of cops giving us the big don`t do that or else. Switched to swinging a pig without missing a beat!

I was there in that era and I really can't remember this. Not only that but I can't think of any song/tune that it fits in with. Any clues please? At the moment My Bonnie lies over the ocean is just about the best I can think of.
