If this move becomes permanent I hope Lys finally grasps the idea that he'll have a short career, therefore he has to apply himself if he's not to waste his obvious talent.
Practically we need him to impress at the Italian club, it will help negotiate a reasonable transfer fee that we need desperately.

My memory of LM are of exceptional displays (too few I accept) judged against far too many lame displays where a desire to win and impose himself were conspicuous by their absence. I doubt he'll ever change, the trappings of professional football enabled LM to squander his talents whilst behaving like an overrated teenager who had no sense of what it takes to be successful in the professional game. The fact that Eddie Howe and Chris Wilder both chose to take a punt and sign the player indicated that they believed they could bring out the best in him, sadly both failed and Lys is about to take another, and possibly his final, chance at showing why he's someone who could perform when he felt like it.

The sad thing about this is that his failings are, so it seems, entirely self-imposed, so hardly any sympathy from yours truly about the plight he finds himself in.

Well it looks like he is off, & to be honest I can't help but be sad about this. I accept he has brought a lot of it on himself with a questionable attitude at times, but he has also been unlucky with injuries, family tragedy's & the like. I guess most people would be most annoyed by an apparent lack of effort & application, given the obvious talent he has, but overall I think he did make a positive contribution, shame he couldn't/wouldn't keep it up. There were strong rumours that he actually cost less than £7 million, not the £10 + often quoted, but whatever, he really was a sight to see at his peak for us & I choose to remember those moments.

I'm saddened to say "good riddance" because for a short while Mousset was the best player (along with JOC) during the best spell of football I've ever seen this club play. He has everything in his locker talenwise: pace, power, composure, finishing ability. An unbelievable talent.
But he showed the club a total lack of respect, probably not maliciously, I just think he's an idiot to be honest. I don't think the penny will ever drop. And for that reason, happy to see the back of him. Let him become somebody else's problem.

I think an awful lot of blokes, me included are 'wired up' slightly differently and tend to be the type that don't realise what we have until its gone, the academy systems isn't going away, it produces players, but sometimes its open to question regards is it the best for every person or character, when someone has been through the system, from an early age, its possible it can encourage and inspire but it can also have other effects that are far more negative.

We'll probably only bring in someone on loan or Jebbo back. But hey, let's just keep the striker who has not managed to play one 90 minutes for us and managed less than 600 minutes in the league in the last 2 years.

Of.our strikers Burkes already gone, if Moose goes too that leaves Sharp Didzy and McBurnie fit to play with Brewster likely out for weeks.

Looking at our fixture list starting Friday we have got 7 games in 27 days. Are we really going with 2 mid 30 year year olds and a player who hasn't kicked a ball for weeks as our only strikers ?

Additionally our 2 most creative players are under an injury cloud so we have to bring Jebbo back.
