not sure what our finances are like but if it was a choice between signing some player on a permanent or using the money to try to tempt wolves with a large loan fee to bring him back for the season I’d go shit or bust on MGW and pray he stayed fit, know it’s dead money but with him and the new additions we’d have to be really unlucky not to get promoted.

With sides like Everton after him theres no way hes coming back on loan. Wolves arent gonna turn 25m down then loan him. They r either going to play him or think they can get more for him

He probably doesn't want to test himself overseas and is happy to be the main man at a promoted side.

The loan of MGW worked perfectly for everyone.

I think we have returned to them an undamaged first team player. Wolves must be mental if they sell him.

They might want to repeat the experiment though. We have had a few loans from them over the years, and I can't recall any bad ones.

There's no way he's coming back to BDTBL though (unless we draw them in the cup), so let it go.

If they can replicate last season's style of play with their new signings, yes.
A good counter-attack can work a treat in the PL, particularly for newly promoted teams. Then again, Leicester won the league playing it

Apparently willing to pay him over 100k a week. Even on a free transfer that is absurd for a newly promoted team and will surely risk upsetting squad balance by bringing in someone on 3 or 4 times more money than your top earner.
