Robbo says he's wanting to win this one, but will be making changes...

Even with the changes he's going to make we should be strong enough to win this one. I'll go for another 3-1 win :)

Definitley got to be looking for a comfortable win!

Hopefully see some more of carney!

Carney will start according to OS.

Those of you who are going... is it a pleasant round of applause for JP McGovern as a former Blade or a hostile round of boos for a former pig?

Bit harsh. Thought he did ok for us and even better for Wednesday.

Same here, also thought he'd stay at a higher level.

He'll get clapped by me :)

didnt pull up any trees, did what he had to really. with work he might have gone onto better things.

Horsfield only scored thanks to Shelton beating 4 players and having his shot saved by the keeper.

Wasn't a great game to be honest, but at least there were goals.

Agreed Mousey,

We could have easily scored a hatful tonight.

Plenty of positives to take from this, including a very good performance by Shelton, and a decent run out for Carney.

Leigertwood was absymal tonight, but I did feel for him when they used 3rd sub, it should have been him coming off as he was knackered.

I wouldn't say he was absymal. Made a number of mistakes, but also passed the ball very well at times and worked hard at chasing/closing people. He was absolutely knackered towards the end.

This is the main problem.... making a "number" of mistakes. his passing was "ok" at times, but for the main, his positional play is crap ie behind the defence quite a few times for some bizarre reason. Doesn't give any link up play either. His passing is mainly what I would call "negative passing", ie always back towards our own goal. And his positive passive generally finds an opposition player.

Sorry for the "s ;)

Obviously I wasn't there tonight, but I just wonder if my judgement is;

1. Clouded because I wasn't convinced of Legs Of Wood when we signed him,

2. Becoming like positive discrimination, as the world and the office cat is on his back (like I usually am, but not physically), or,

3. Whether we were all right, all along, and he's crap.

I tried to stick up for him a bit v. West Brom, but really, thinking back to what he actually did, he was crap.

i was looking for so many reasons to stick up for him as i could hear people slating him, but he really was just pants. But still gotta take the positives. Morgan was outstanding, Stead i thought worked his socks off, Nicky Law wasn't to out of place in the centre of midfield think him and tonge would work well togetherand carney look assured in stages . Still a wins a win, let's hope for a good draw. UTB

disappointed with the support last night thought there would be more and it would have been louder, but the bloke who got spoken to by the steward was great. Nice to see yall from forum, quite ironic two days after footy, nice handshake Robbie and looking rather suave :D

If we had a team full of players that didn't make mistakes we'd be towards the top of the Premiership. He was at times deep due to being played that way, to enable the rest of the midfield to press forward without worrying so much about them breaking.

Think on his performance yesterday, you're being a little unfair. He was often on the edge of their penalty area trying to bring the wide players into play. One of his favourite balls yesterday was also playing it behind their right/left back on to whichever winger was pushing forward.

i really did think played brillaint, some excellent defensive headers, and a goal saving block right on line (although i questioned whether it was geary). Him and Lucketti in my opinion are the best pairing in central defence we have :)

OOoooo yeah, lets get it on suggestion cards "plush seats please" haha
