Wasn't a great performance by any means but we won and that's what matters. Result then performance.

Leigertwood wasn't great but he has played alot worse. Gave the ball away a few times but worked hard and to be fair to him he does always look for the ball to rectify his mistakes. We still need better than him though.

Personally, I didn't think Shelton was up to much when he came on, barring a couple of good runs and the shot/cross he did in the second half. Missed a sitter in the second half which would have won us the game, the run he went on before we scored seemed to me more luck than judgement if I'm honest, never looked like he had the ball under control. And a few passes were poor.

I still don't understand all the fuss about him, I just don't think he looks good enough.

He did yeah, I'll give him that. But he can't finish and he's a striker!

Bit like Montgomery and Leigertwood in midfield who can't pass.

I think we should stick him on the wing one game and let him fly.

Exactly what me and Chrissy was saying on way home. My main problem with him apart from his shooting was that he always looked like he wanted to get rid of ball if someone was near him, I was urging him to run at the defenders, as he proved a massive handful when he did.

I got in at 1am too - totally knackered! Got out pretty quick on coach, but we had to turn around and come a different way as part of road was closed or something. Coach went past end of our estate but I'd left my car at the pub so had to go back to pub lol or could have been home earlier!

Would have been ok if it wasn't for extra time - although at least that extra 45mins(ish) we spent in the ground is cheaper than buying a ticket for a replay!!!
