Turner's wages and a proper nasty bastard in midfield with the Murphy money.
Will do me nicely.

That's my back 4 too, but would it be harsh for us to drop Freeman?Brayford, Turner, Edgar, Harris.
I hope this is true because this would be some L1 defence to compliment our SAS strikeforce when they're all fit!
Regardless of Turner (who I can't see dropping two divisions) I think it has to be a priority to relegate McEveley to left back cover only. I wouldn't like him to even be considered at centre half from now on.
I'd start Flynn at right back once he's fit and shift Freeman over to the left hand side. Freeman would then have a few months to prove himself at left back in Harris' absence. It's highly unlikely that he will be able to make the right back slot his own with John Brayford (eventually) returning to the scene, so left back (where I still think Harris is weak, even when fit) is probably his best shot for now. Having said that a combination of Freeman and Adams is a bit of an open door defensively, but they're both young and I trust that Adkins will be drilling them to tighten up.
Flynn/Brayford/Campbell-Ryce/Done are good options down the right, with Harris/McEveley/Freeman/Adams good options on the left (especially when you bear in mind that some of these players are as comfortbale on either flank). We really do just need better options through the middle now, another good centre half and a good commanding central midfielder, preferably one with an engine, who can get a foot in and control a game with his passing (Sam Morsy, as others have mentioned looked a player who fits this bill).
Was really pleased to hear the good reports on JCR last night, he became a bit of a forgotten man (or at least for me he did) until yesterday afternoon when I was posting and his name sprung to mind. I mentioned that his style of play is tailor made for these open matches we're having, I think he'll hit a real purple patch over the next 6 weeks. He'd be some player if his decision making/execution was better/more consistent.
not to be a downer but Adkins already stated the wages he is likely on would make it very hard for us or another league 1 club to sign him, then again he didn't rule anything out
The beauty of it is Freeman is also our best right midfielder, so we might not need to.That's my back 4 too, but would it be harsh for us to drop Freeman?
not about wagesDidn't he say that about Sharp?

Michael Turner on way to Sheffield United, will be confirmed tomorrow #ncfc![]()
Hence why his source is unreliable; he got it wrong.Thought Bamford was on loan at Palace?

Rather have a footballing midfielder who chips in with a few goals than a nasty bastard.Turner's wages and a proper nasty bastard in midfield with the Murphy money.

Bloody hell, league one is full of "Raheem Sterlings and Eden Hazards." He's going to get ripped to shredsHere is a Norwich supporter assessment of Turner

I believe he said he was on Premier league money or something like that , but to disagree with myself slightly he said that about sharp ...Didn't Adkins say that it would be impossible for a league 1 club to pay for somebody with his wages? Or it may have been tweeted by one of the Radio Sheffield lot, anyways I'm not convinced we have much of a chance signing Turner. Hasn't he been playing Premier League and Championship football for all his career? ,

If we have Edgar and Turner in the middle of defence for the season and if they stay fit, we'd go up. Simple as that.
Norwich will have to subsidise at least 75% of his wages to make this feasible you'd think. He must be on around 20k a week
I was just kidding about him signing yesterday, honest!!
It's definitely today now i've just checked with my sauce!!!!!! Plus I've just seen him in Meadowhall
Was he wearing a Blades or a Norwich shirt tho?
I'm off there soon, I'll look out for him. What's he look like?
He's fat, black and about 5 foot 5.
