No. It's utter bollocks.
So you don't believe he owns half the whole entity? So you're agreeing with me.

Although I presume you've got mixed up.

Do you think he owns half the club (not SUFC Ltd, calm down) as a whole, when the ground is nothing to do with him?

Simple yes/no then at least your (stupidity) is on record and we can leave it at that. :)

Calling someone stupid using "you're stupidity" is maybe not the best way to go.

He owns half of BL which owns 100% of Sheffield United Football Club Ltd (clue in name). I think you're ( :) ) having a "contract" moment. Or a stroke.

Bare in mind you're arguing with someone who thinks someone can own half a club whilst having nothing to do with the ground. :)
aren't you mixing people up with Limited Companies ? Seperate Limited Companies can own different parts of the' Club'

Can't you see past SUFC Ltd? It appears you're not even acknowledging the fact that the Prince doesn't have anything to do with the ground. And you really believe he owns half, in realistic terms when this is the case?

Yes/no. Not difficult.

Who actually gives a toss about who owns what, as a strategy it's been a disaster and we are just going backwards. KM made an appearance to beg for season ticket renewals and has disappeared into the woodwork again, as for the Prince enough said. The totally depressing thing is we only had one loser to try and get rid of now we have two. It's often said where would we be without KM I would give it ago in a heartbeat.

Ive said SU Ltd own the ground. Can you not read. And therefore as he has nothing to do with that company does not have any interest in the ground.
He owns half of the football club.it says so in the accounts.
Are you saying the club is made up of more than one Company? If so taking that to an illogical conclusion it would be a joint venture and guess what, he'd still only own 50% of the club and none of the ground.

I can certainly read, it appears you can't answer direct, simple questions though.

#277.

Well you must have seen where I said he doesn't own the ground. If you say I haven't your a liar. But putting it in a post shows your small mindedness in trying to make people believe something that isn't true. A regular occurrence with you.

I can't answer the nonsense that the FC isn't a club because it doesn't own the ground.

Okay you answer one. What makes up the "club" that is Sheffield United?

I'm a bit greeen with this so bear with me. Company "A" owns the ground, the Prince's 50% share is in company "B" which technically is seperate totally from company "A"?

Yes. The company that holds the licence to play in the league does not own the ground. That's the bit Poundland owns 50% of.

Let's keep it tame, just a discussion remember.

What makes up the "club" that is Sheffield United is the companies attached to it, including which assets are under which company.

*You're - sorry Sean, we all make mistakes but as you corrected mine I'll have to correct yours. :)

OK I'll accept you know the ground is under SU Ltd. Why can't you answer my question? #277.

Ha ha. Is that a legal definition or yours. Brilliant.

So you've admitted one falsehood. Well done.

It's not a legal definition, but it's what we're talking about here which I presume is why you asked it otherwise there was no need. #277 is still unanswered btw. Are you going to answer it or not as there's no point wasting time, at least you're capable of answering that one. :)

No I asked it because I knew you would have to concoct some rubbish in a futile attempt to make it stand up. You didn't disappoint.

277.

As I've said he owns 50% yes. Realistically, legally and actually. It's there at Companies House. Your flight of fancy as what you think makes up a football club bears no relationship to the facts.

I've answered it before based on facts. Facts you can't disprove so you say I dodge it.

How about you finding something on Google that backs up your "what makes a club" statement? If you're correct, it'll be a pretty much easy to find definition.

Does this mean that Sheikh Mansour doesn't own Manchester City if Manchester City Council own the ground ?

Arsenal Football Club don't own the Emirates Either. Kronke and Usmanov should be told straight away :)

The reality is that it's a simple, direct question and by your own admission you can't answer it.

Hey, why pay millions for clubs when you can invest £1, not own the ground but still own half overall eh?

All these multi millionaire/billionaires paying tens of millions, when really they're missing the trick.

The daft sods. Perhaps you can have a word. :)

Another lie. Reality sinking in is it?

A lie that multi millionaires are paying tens of millions for football clubs?

Are you really, really sure about that? *Cough* Chansiri *Cough* :)

Yes that's exactly what I said, clearly.

Why do you feel the need to make things up?

Well your claim that something was a "lie" is bullshit anyhow. So what was it about? If it was in response to you admitting you couldn't answer my question, it's quite clear you do just that in post #283, line 3.

No it's not. You attributed something to me I'd not said and before that stated categorically that I'd not said the Prince didn't own the ground.

Keep analysing though, take your mind off making yourself look a twat again.

And final word for the umpteenth time my answer to your question is yes, he does own 50% of the club.
SUFC Ltd, yes, which paints the false picture that he owns half of everything - when in reality that's impossible when you have no attachment to the ground. But at least now you've found out you actually can answer simple questions, despite not knowing whether you could or not in post #283 (LOL). The stupidity is out there now, at least.

Which brings it back round to my other question, why buy clubs for tens of millions when they can just pay £1 for 50%?

It's either you, an internet message board guru, that's daft, or them - successful multi millionaires purchasing clubs for tens of millions.

Answers on a postcard - no prizes.
