Because of the title of the OP.Please tell me how wanting a more ambitious owner makes me a pig
Crikey some people need to chill on here only offering a reasonable argument that mccabe cant offer the ambition that a club our size should be showing.Because of the title of the OP.
You could just have easily said "Is it time for McCabe to stand down" and you could have made exactly the same points.
Instead you made it into a demand and so showed yourself to be at best a twat and at worst, not a Blade.
The End.
That's ok - I was just explaining why you come across as a pig more than a BladeCrikey some people need to chill on here only offering a reasonable argument that mccabe cant offer the ambition that a club our size should be showing.

If we are to get anywhere in the next few years McCabe has to sell up along with the fake sheikh.
This window was the perfect opportunity to show a bit of ambition. Nothing crazy just the opportunity to back wilder and see what he can do with a bit of sensible investment. Considering we've received 6/7 million in sales.
And we have spent nothing we've made a profit of 4/5 million. McCabe please leave
Bump bump bump
We are gonna be in the exact same position we were last year selling assets and not reinvesting , please Kevin get out of the club or we will never progress . We had the perfect opportunity in January to spend sensibly to push on and we spent nothing .
Don’t let wilders hard work be disguised as McCabes work the guy will never take us forward he will only take us backwards .
Thanks kev but let the prince takeover
Do you have a detailed investment plan that you would like to present to said Prince? Are you able to present evidence of the amount of money McCabe has invested in SUFC during his tenure and put forward a proposal for how he extrapolates himself from the club in a legal and fair manner for all parties? Presumably you also have good sources to indicate that the Prince is going to be a generous benefactor to SUFC with the Club's interest 100% at heart? Or are you, like the vast majority of supporters, mainly ignorant of the relationship between SUFC, McCabe and the Prince, and in no position to comment from an educated standpoint? Jesus wept, one player sold and an underwhelming kit, combined with some rumours. I assume by the fact that you didn't commit suicide in the late 90s that you weren't around on Deane/Fjortoft day.Bump bump bump

Despite a few mistakes over the years, Kev is currently our best and only option with no others around who are actually doing anything.

We will spend nothing like we did last year , Spending less than we got for the sell on clauses like we did last year with the brooks money this year , brooks will be used as a way to fund the summer signings but this just means that the board doesn’t have to put there hand in the pocket .2 questions:
How much should we have got for Brooks realistically?
If the money isn't being reinvested where will it be going?
The trouble is your own timeline suggests that you don't view what's happened since your first post as being relatively successful.
You obviously demand success, and you want it now! As other posters have mentioned, you don't appear to have offered a coherent solution which puzzles said posters. Any buyers you can think of? Anyone on the horizon who'll fulfil your dream? It did cross my mind that should we achieve promotion, if we don't secure a top 10 spot will you demand a more assertive owner to take us to our supposedly 'rightful' position? I mention this because you offer a strangely familiar echo of wendy supporters and their delusion that they have a god-given right to the success that's so far evaded them. I'm not saying you're swine by nature, but by bleating the same tired refrain as our country cousins you dilute the effectiveness of your own message.
Almost every club is a selling club, including the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal, so we've got a long way to go before we can adopt anything other than a realistic position of ensuring that this club keeps afloat and pays the sizeable overhead that we manage to create each season. Which brings me back to your point about your post - any takers you have in mind? I suspect that McCabe would love to hand the keys over to an owner who had the best intentions for United and wouldn't treat the club in a cavalier manner, something your posts seem to have avoided considering. Until we're in the Premiership selling this club will become a harder proposition than you seem to imagine. A buyer might be found now, but would they match the price that McCabe needs to sell his ownership of the club? Then of course there's the Prince to consider, something that I suspect McCabe may regret having brought on board in the first place. So your idea about finding a new owner is not only simplistic, it fails to address the myriad questions that surround co-ownership of this club. Back to the drawing board for you I'm afraid.
...and that is the cold hard depressing truth.

As a club we shouldn’t have to sell key players to have a reasonable budget.
McCabe is a joke and has been for a number of years the sooner he fu*** off the better .
And everyone sayin oh look at villa , no one is saying spend stupid ammomunts , just don’t sell our best players every season and show a bit of ambition.
If it wasn’t for wilder these last couple of years McCabe would have been hounded out
No no it is not Leeds / forest have both got new ambitious owners/investors in the last year
The fact that your response was so knee-jerk tells me that you don't understand the economics of running a club. You need to take a step back, consider the reasons why some owners gamble so profligately, without too much thought to what their gambles might end up doing to their clubs. Yes, Forest are spending, just as Villa have done. Maybe you ought to think whether this is a never-ending treadmill where money can keep being invested without a thought to a day of financial reckoning?
Better still, look at the owner of the pigs, one minute spending millions, now he's not willing to spend in exactly the same manner. Why do you think that is?

All name calling, accusations of pocketing money etc aside the obvious valid point remains.
Kev doesn't have the money to mount a serious push. If he had last January would of been the time.
We do need a new owner to progress, but that's been the case for a long time now and I hope it happens while we still have wilder.
Imo Wilder + ambitious owner = established premier league club.
I mean it’s pretty simple when you owner sells all your best players and then only uses a small fraction of that money to sign inadequate replacements that owner isn’t a very good one no matter how much anyone tries to shape it up .
Please stop trying to dress it up any differently if McCabe wasn’t a blade from Sheffield there is no way he would be treated as favorably as this
