Cut and paste last 15 yearsAgree with all of that, but I do think we can be top 6 Christmas and the owners will back us in JTW for a top 2 push.

YupSome folks on here must look at a house under construction and decide its crap because it doesn't have windows or a roof .
Let them finish the job and relax .
Bang on truth and the manager says he trains them like 1st teamers as he any other choice really not blaming him ! Up above pressure maybe .Replacing BBD & JRS with Ukakikook and the Peruvian Jeff
No ammount of happy clapping can pull the wool over my eyes
Horrfific summer window so far absoloute tosh
BBD was a pointless, needless signing. He offered nothing. JRS hit and miss.
I'm intrigued as to how the new ownership, management and squad plays out now.
For me, too much change in one hit for anyone to expect or realistically demand automatic this season. There's too much needs to bed in.
Play offs possible, but my guess is 4th to 10th.
Interesting season ahead.
We haven't replaced BBD and JRS with Ukaki and Caceres, we've replaced them with Brooks and Barry.
Ukaki and Caceres were never intended as starters for this coming season when they were signed in January.
have to agree can see brooks and barry being our 2 first choice wingers with ukaki and caceres on the bench still think wilder should have persevered with brooks over jrs who i didnt rate that highly while he was with usWe haven't replaced BBD and JRS with Ukaki and Caceres, we've replaced them with Brooks and Barry.

Moores back pass! Haunts me every night ffs!Still trying to erase the memory of how we played in the second half at Wembley!
Our starting line up against Bristol City is likely to be

I don't have a problem with that. It's a strong team. The only weakness I can see is Peck, as he's inconsistent and positionally poor as his enthusiasm draws him to the ball instead of letting it come to him, where this can create gaps for teams to exploit. That position is a vital one in this set up and requires a cool head and discipline (aka Souza), where mistakes will be punished as teams will be looking to hit us quickly on the break. I just don't see Peck doing that role consistently..... yet. Hopefully Soumare will fill that void.
Yes, we're weak in depth, but we were last season too.
I still have some reservations over Brooks as he can be hesitant and can hold onto the ball too long sometimes, but it's clear that he's a Selles pacey, flair player and not a Wilder fighter, safety first battler (not having a dig at Wilder).
The potential of this team is exciting.
O'Hare and Hamer track back and tackle enough, hence all Hamer's yellow cards last season, but they definitely need a Souza type in between them. I think Peck will be very limited in appearances once Soumare is up to speed (assuming he signs), unless Peck finds that discipline and consistency.I don’t think the midfield 3 has any defensive capabilities and opposition will cut through us easily. Perhaps Soumare in there (somewhere) will make a difference?

Unless we spend most of the season in the lower half Selles won't be sacked. Even if we hover in and around the play offs then he'll be fine. The new owners have insinuated that it's not promotion or bust for him this season.Thin squad, no significant summer additions adds up to underwhelming season which Selles may not survive.
Most entertainment to be had may be across the city though suspect they'll do better than people think when the Blitz spirit kicks in.
While agree to a point, not sure if I believe that, they gave Wilder a new contract in January, and he was within 15 mins of the Prem but still sacked. I think they feel we have a promotion winning team and unless we are there and there abouts I think RS job is on the line.Unless we spend most of the season in the lower half Selles won't be sacked. I think there were a lot of reasons for Wilder’s sacking. Failure to go up was just one of them. While agree to a point, not sure if I believe that, they gave Wilder a new contract in January, and he was within 15 mins of the Prem but still sacked. Given how they removed Wilder can't see them accepting an upper midtable season.Unless we spend most of the season in the lower half Selles won't be sacked. I’m really excited that I’ve moved my seat to directly behind youI’m feeling great
New footie season , new manager , new owners , very exciting and competitive league to play in , some really good mates to go to the matches with - nice stadium , nice people to sit with , no one is dropping bombes on me (yet) ….
We might lose a few - we might win a few - who knows but COYRAWW
They didn't remove Wilder because he failed to get us promoted. They removed him because they want us to go up and stay up. They know he can get us up but his methods and tactics won't keep us up. They also want to modernise us and get us playing the modern way which will prepare us for life in the Premier League, so that needed a managerial change.Given how they removed Wilder can't see them accepting an upper midtable season.
The likely drop in attendance and commercial income from drifting will sharpen minds.
Yup
My wife / partner/ he / she etc - bought a bag of red potatoes and half a white cabbage- I bet the Sunday roast will be crap
Accurate, true and spot on post Tony KIt might not be that they haven't got the cash, it's probably more that they can't splash it because of FFP. Every player signed for a fee if a loss towards FFP, unless we offload Hamer or Anel to balance things. We don't yet have the "homegrown" players to sell for pure profit to aide this. I think if we don’t go up this season then they'll splash the cash next summer, as we may well get decent offers for the likes of Seriki and Brooks. It's annoying to nurture and develop young players with the intention of selling them, but that's what FFP makes you do these days. Other clubs have excelled at this and as per usual we're years behind them.
Barry is the BBD replacement, hopefully the form against Chesterfield translates to Championship performances.Replacing BBD & JRS with Ukakikook and the Peruvian Jeff

TrueWithout a piece of meat (yeah yeah yeah, nut roast / cauliflower steak), it is looking like a shit roast.
Maybe go down the pub, giving your wife/him/they/it, a slap on the way. Tell them there's more to come if they don't deliver you a perfect tea.
There's only a tiny risk that the locks get changed, you get arrested, or the brother in law gives you a right good kicking.
