If we are to get anywhere in the next few years McCabe has to sell up along with the fake sheikh.

This window was the perfect opportunity to show a bit of ambition. Nothing crazy just the opportunity to back wilder and see what he can do with a bit of sensible investment. Considering we've received 6/7 million in sales.

And we have spent nothing we've made a profit of 4/5 million. McCabe please leave

Then what?
Smash up the stadium. Then what?

I suspect McCabe would love to leave but no one is interested.
In the mean time the reality is he keeps the club afloat.

I do share your dissappointment though, at least Wilder feels that's he been backed and that's what counts the most. In his interview tonight he says the clubs were happy, the players wanted to join but the agents were being totally unreasonable.

Who's buying? You?

Check the next company accounts if you think we've made a profit. Wilder was backed. We made multi-million pound offers for Coady, Lenihan, Leonard, Egan, Cole, Heneghan, You can't force clubs to sell at gunpoint. What should we do? Pay inflated prices that no other club in the land was prepared to pay (none of them moved elsewhere).

There was sensible investment available and offered. Other clubs wouldn't play. No other buying clubs chose to join the game at their prices.

Quite why you have to insult the Prince as well remains a mystery. It's childish and factually inaccurate. He's not a fake. You aren't a Fake Blade are you? Not one of the recent influx of pigs by any chance?

The lunatics have taken over the asylum again. It's the same every Jim White Day, however badly or well the club happens to be doing. Self-entitled; self-satisfied, pitifully ignorant single-cells who store up vitriol for weeks and months in preparation and boy, do they make the most of it.

Tales told by idiots, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

Hahahah ok mate so your happy with the board of your club showing 0 ambition , we should have spent money without the incoming sell ons. We have made 4/5 mill this transfer window.
Looks like McCabes happy to ride the wilder wave and show that he doesn't have to invest in the team.

And no I'm not asking for a boom or bust transfer spending just a few decent up and coming signs to show we're ambitious in the championship. WE HAVE SPENT NOTHING

That are probably on big wages and require a substantial loan fee. It's that or pay £5m one player of the same quality, which we don't have.

If we don't have the money, we don't have the money.
We do have the money we just got 6/7 mill from sell ons ?

What would you thoughts be if we had a poor start to the season? Like the pigs for example?

We are a newly promoted team currently 5th in the division.

I'm glad we haven't signed anybody good

No club that signed good players ever amounted to much

If we are to get anywhere in the next few years ...

Our financing and decision making over the last year has led to a rate of progress beyond any sane person's expectations.

You don't get points and progress for spending money on 11 expensive individuals - you get them by building the team and the club. That philosophy has been behind our rise.

So let's save criticism for when our approach fails, not for when we think that it's going to.

For those that have seen the highest highs and the lowest lows -

The Magic is Back

Yes we are and probably have the best manager in the league look what he is and has done on a shoe string budget (for the champ).
If wilder was given the funds we've received imagine what he could do.

I think the exact reasoning is why we haven't spent , that's usually what McCabe thinks , always reactive not proactive , as shown in the prem then in league one

No our manager has this has 0 to do with McCabe 0

....but real life is not like Fifa or Football Manager. It doesn't sit in a pot waiting to be spent. Much of it will have been consumed by the other ten players we have signed and the enormous running costs of a club the size of ours.

I'm not sure where the idea comes from that the money we have spent and will spend on the other signings was already accounted for without the sell on fees we obtained. Can we safely assume that at this stage? I don't think so.

Perhaps we have spent some of it. Perhaps we tried to spend the rest.

Wish we could light some of these fools the way to dusty death!

Had we not received the sell on money, we would've still had to cover the running costs, so the sell on money was merely an added luxury. Considering this, the level of investment this window is understandably being questioned.

We're not a league one club anymore we will receive among the highest revenue in the league through gates etc....
I'm not suggesting we throw money at it like Wendy.
But we have shown no ambition with our signings at all.
This is solely down to the prince and McCabe who I'm guessing are more than happy to watch wilder perform miracles.

We can't cover the 'running costs' from income. The significant shortfall is made up year on year by our selfish, unambiguous, Machiavellian chairman.

Football clubs have a much greater expenditure than simply transfer fees and player wages.

That's patent nonsense. Ten players have come in.

McCabe has been here a lot longer than Wilder. What wave has he ridden in previous years? What is the benefit to him in holding back the club he both supports and owns?

The Agenda Group really don't think things through, do they?

Never said we could. I'm pointing out that had we not received the sell on money, we would've covered the running costs . So the luxury of unexpected incoming money should be set aside to go straight back in to the team in my opinion, and not used up to help cover the running costs. The running costs should be dealt with exactly how we were planning to do so before we received any sell on money.

Wilder has no complaint about the funds he has been given. He has praised the owners tine after time.

How many times before it sinks in? We've offered millions for players this week. Either the offers have not been accepted (although no other club has offered more) or fat, greedy, bent agents have intervened.

Is it to be 'name your own price' or kidnapping? I can't think of any other alternatives. The first is financial suicide and the second illegal.

Ah, you want the Owners to provide limitless funding? Why didn't you say? I understand now.

Where did I say that? I've made myself as clear as possible, you're either not understanding or you're deliberately choosing to come up with a ridiculous straw man argument.

Is that based on having access to the club's book and knowing all the profits and losses?
