Great performance today, well done McBurnie. Shame about the other 10.

Mcburnie deserves credit today - easily MoM. In our present position we need this sort of performance on a more regular basis

but should we really be tossing balls up to him as often as we do? - I really really thought we'd become a possession based team - a phrase that CW has dished out many many times in the past few years.

It is now sad that we're chasing this type of football.

Anyway - that's another game over - will be pissed off for 24 hours.

We move on to Southampton, where once again, we need to get our season going.

Some of us remember Bassett and Forest -still time and never give in.

UTB bud, that was a great season. On to the saints they were lucky in both games against us last season. Could we have some desperately needed luck come our way. Let's channel the spirit of Zico Lake. Oh for another shitpinger from distance like his to fly in from midfield.

I can appreciate his contribution more when he isn’t used as the target man. He is good at holding the ball up with his feet, when the ball is played into him. He is good at attacking corners and crosses when we play the ball downfield Through the midfield. The shit tactic of the hopeful punt up to him does him no favours at all. UTB

I did not expect to know that McBurnie is a good chess player.

For me Kieffer Moore was the reason they won that day - won everything in the air and brought players like McB into the game - he played left side and looked as unorthodox then as he does now. It was no from me then, and it's still a no today.

What about when he destroyed us at the Liberty? Or when he scored at the Lane?

One goal and a moderate performance from McBurnie and Chabuddy's flailing fists like a drunk who can't pull a bird.
Oh no quite the opposite, I don't chuck our lads under the bus when they play below par either. Find it to be counter productive 👍
But some people are incredibly sad, so that can't be helped

I agree with the skanky Manc fem-ball pundit on BT squirt. Mc(insert insult here) Missed his chances again. Good opportunities in the last couple of minutes which if fallen to someone else they could’ve/should’ve/would’ve scored. Most frustrating game of chess I’ve watched all year!

I can't defend the lad. He looks totally out of his depth. He was always going to be a gamble and unfortunately it hasn't paid off. And to be honest when we signed him lots of us were pretty please we had got him. My main problem with him is what do we do with him he's one of our biggest earners and biggest underperfomers. I can't see anyone wanting to take him on loan or buy him.

£40m up top tonight.

One for 75 mins.

One for 45 mins.

Brews forward pass to Burke in the first half aside, was there ONE other positive contribution from the pair of em ?

The withdrawal of Dids was the most bizarre substitution Wilder has ever made and there are some other choice contenders.

I will give Rhian the benefit. BUT he needs taking out of the squad for the time being for his own benefit.

McB ? When you know ...... 👀 😉!

There are 5 players in the 20 who really have no business being there at this time.

Our demise is now just as spectacular as the rise that preceded it. Desperately sad it has come to this.

say what you want about McBurnie but he always seems to get himself in the right place at the right time, even if he isn't finishing. How many chances has Brewster had? I can think of one long range shot.
