Not sure how he was 'shown up' by McGoldrick. McGoldrick offered very little, McBurnie should have scored the 1 on 1, but did well with the header and forced another save.
He was far from brilliant, but offered the most of the 3 strikers.

No it's not an excuse. I just don't understand what people are expecting from him? We create nothing. He isint a world class striker, I don't understand why our tactics have become long ball to McBurnie and then McBurnie gets all the shit. We are lacking ideas and creativity. I think McBurnie is doing everything he is being asked to do in this set up and don't see why he gets all the shit he does.

McBurnie isn't a great PL forward but he is OK. He isn't the problem. The problem is and has been all season, lack of decent service and the way we are playing at the moment I. E. Just banging it long most of the game. It isnt doing him or any of our forwards for that matter, and favours.

And I agree with some of the posters above. McBurnie probably should have bagged today, but at least he put himself in a position to miss those chances. No other forward player did. What exactly did McGoldrick do for us today?

Who would dispute this? He had the ball in the goal v Wolves which was chalked off for an obvious but puzzling foul by McGoldrick.
