He was ok last season, this season he looks a shadow of that. He's not the only problem but I'd feel a lot more confident if we played the next 2 worst strikers we have which to be fair could be any 2 from 4.

For me Kieffer Moore was the reason they won that day - won everything in the air and brought players like McB into the game - he played left side and looked as unorthodox then as he does now. It was no from me then, and it's still a no today.

I know quite a few Barnsley fans who do not rate Moore

he can play well in the championship thats his level hes not a premier league player we took a punt on him and it hasnt paid off certainly not at this level

Well I can believe that - he's a player who stays no where very long - go and have a look at the teams he's had, although Wales have played the past few games with him.

At 6' 5" he has merit to a manager who wants to play it long as Barnsley did that day - we just didn't get to grips with him, although we didn't really start playing till the 2nd half, got well into the game then gifted it to them in the last quarter when they bombed balls up to Moore. Jake Wright was in the centre of the three, so I suppose it was good tactics.

McB played 16 times for Swansea in the PL and scored zero goals.
Then he had a purple patch in the Championship , scoring 9 in 17 for Barnsley , then 22 in 42 for the Swans.
For some reason we must have thought he'd step up to the PL but he hasn't.
Not surprising when you watch him play.
The very fact that the Prince sanctioned Brewster & Burke tells you that McB & Moose have , in very different ways , been poor signings.
McB simply doesn't have the attributes required - if he was going to improve , he'd already have done so in these last 16 months.
Moose has the attributes but not the mental application - if he could be motivated , he has the potential to succeed.
CW must feel so frustrated by both of them.
But he's got to be brave enough to leave McB out.
And stop chopping & changing the strikers.
I would play Burke & Brewster regularly to see if we can get some understanding between them as a pair. Moose can be the sub if either of them tire.
 
The only way I would play this guy is behind 2 strikers then hopefully when he wins his aerial duels and it flies off to the left or right behind him it might actually go to one of our players rotate with mcgoldrick (and maybe fleck or berge in a pinch in the number 10 position till we get freeman back) have mcburnie/goldy get in the box for the header when we go wide to cross, think we need a more attacking system like this now

Mousset/Burke/Brewster up front rotate them as necessary in a 5-2-1-2 (wingbacks)
 



I think he has decent hold up play and he could be decent in the air to win flick ons for our strikers but this guy isn't a striker imo

He's our striker he's our number 9,
Scoring goals in the red and white,
6 foot 3 and he came from Swansea,
And he goes by the name of MCBURNIE

Takes his fair share of criticism but can't be accused of not putting in a shift today - well done Ollie
 
He needs to play like that every other week, not once every couple of months.

Fair performance of him. Technical he's lacking, but he makes up for it by his work ethic and actually gave some great passes today. At least he can hold the ball. Get him a proper partner and it's at least PL worthy.
