Neither does this...

"Asked whether United could “afford to lose” against Brentford, Danny Wilson replied: “There is always a negative. We won’t be out of it if we lose and we won’t have won the Championship if we win.
People get carried away with 90 minutes of football and it drives me up the wall. Every week, there is a reason to ask a question."

I suspect that the frustration was caused by Paul Walker...

DW is right thou

Snow watch: got into work fine (thanks to my neighbour, giving me a lift). London Road and Hannover Way are presently clear. The flakes are still quite small but looking persistent.

It's persisting it down in Ches Vegas as well, Linz

It rained all night here in Ashford (Middx) (near Heathrow if you need to know the geography), but now all that has stopped and it's just grey and dull.

As Brentford is but a few miles away, I suggest we get the match switched and play at Griffin Park - for the sake of fairness, to even up Brentford gaining home advantage again, I suggest they give us a two goal start, with the goals being awarded to Chris Porter.

If it's the early kick-off we're worried about, what's to stop us binning Sky and going for a 3 o clock start? Not seen the forecast, but if it all stops around noon it's got to be better than putting it back to Tuesday.

The groundstaff are staying in the hotel overnight so they're on hand if needed. Hope Sky are footing their bar bill.

That's a sensible post

if the forecast im looking at is right, we'll all be needing north pole jackets and goggles to go out and hunt for food, never mind playing a football match!

not sure if were better off playing or not. i had a bad feeling about this game, maybe were better off not playing til we get last week out the system. but then again, we dont want to end up with loads of games in hand but be down in 7th or 8th. never a nice scenario at the arse end of a season.

At the moment not a lot of problem in low lying areas such as the Lane
Ive had some fun driving on side roads in Lodge Moor and Walkley this morning, but not any problems elsewhere. Not as bad as the forecast up to now

Snow watch: Snow's come to a stand-still up in University land and our Loomis collector says the roads are quite clear.

I'm going home in a bit (not because of the snow... arranged a half-day earlier in the week) so will see what it's like out and about.

bbc forecast has light snow or heavy snow forecast on every hour all today, all night and all afternoon tomorrow! not one hourly forecast of anything but snow until 4pm tomorrow when we finally get "grey cloud". never seen a forecast like it. its snowmageddon people!

It's the fact it's due to dip below freezing tonight which may be the greatest cause for concern.

It better not get cancelled, this will be the last game I can watch this season (we're not going to the play offs, a new law has been passed banning us from participation)

I've got things like this to look forward to!

The forecast for out here in North Notts has changed from yesterday's smowmageddon to light snow and sleet - it snowed a bit this morning but has stopped now.

Bartman texted me to say the pitch is currently clear. We all know the forecast but my concern is that if we aren't called off due to snow and/or frozen pitch, then the match could be off due to waterlogging.

In Leeds we had about 4 inches then it turned to rain and now it has stopped.

is that bald guy smiling assassin jinx git off the football league show coming to watch us? if he is then were better off getting postponed. dont think ive ever watched the show and hes not made the team hes gone to see get beat. he was at the hartlepool game. hes like satan or summat.
