Hmmm, I wouldn't have thrown coutts in, especially ahead of mcgoldrick who should be playing in duffys role.
Not sure i'm confident at all now.
I like that selection. Coutts & Norwood should dominate that midfield allowing Fleck to maraude forward with the full backs. Slight change with our style I reckon today. Can't see the centre halves joining the attacks much today.
You really that Wilder would regard a game against mid table no hopers as more important than one against a promotion rival?Deffo half an eye on Friday I think from CW.
From what I’ve seen so far when Coutts and Norwood have been on the pitch together we haven’t dominated any more than we usually do with just one of them. What has happened is that they’ve got in each other’s way, with both of them trying to play the same role. I’m hoping that Fleck plays slightly further forward, giving Norwood and Coutts more space and providing a link to the front two.
I’d add that when we’ve done that there’s a big gap between midfield and attack that generally results in the front two being isolated. It’ll be important for today’s midfield to ensure that doesn’t happen.
Do we get more points if we win on Friday then we do if we win today?McG is on 4 bookings. Needs resting for Friday.
Fleck owes us a performance from last season at Forest so hopefully he steps up to the Duffy roaming menace roll.
Do we get more points if we win on Friday then we do if we win today?
Daft team selection, play the best team available to win the game. We know we lack creativity when we play a flat midfield 3 and 0 shots on target in the first half shows exactly that.

Going well so far.How do you know that Wilder doesn’t think this is the best team for this particular game?
Going well so far.
