I would take anything McAnthony says with a huge pinch of salt.....I do agree with Chali 2na however, he doesn't strike me as a Wilder sort of player.

Definitely not a CW type player and I'd be amazed if Utd are in for him.

Whilst he obviously has talent, he's unproven above L1, there are numerous stories of attitude related issues and he's very hit & miss in games - not exactly the sort of player Utd have gone for of late.

I'd love Maddison based on his reputation, clips I've seen, the goals he's scored, his left foot is magic (sound familiar). But not sure Wilder is in for him as I got the impression that he prefers loan options from the Prem - but that was before we got the Brooks offer.

We're absolutely in a position to buy him now anyway, that's for sure. I'd probably rather take Maddison permanently than Palmer or Woodburn on loan.

I'm not sure he's as good as either but he'd be a good asset for us and at the end of the day, Duffy will still be first choice most weeks so it's not like whoever we sign for this position will be under huge pressure to deliver. We can afford to sign the unfinished article there.

It seems the united way with the four payments. Makes sense I admit, but i could only imagine us to be offering a four part payment plan. Also couple that with us in need of cover/replacement for Duffy. Maybe me just adding two and two to make five. A man can hope.
