STFU Neville, of course we look completely different, 3 of our virtually ever present 'back 4' arent playing

I think we need to go back to a CAM.
We really don't have anything else to lose now.

On these 3 games Robinson has proven not good enough. Chasing shadows really.
He won’t though. Next match it will Lundstram Fleck Norwood in a flat 3

I think we'll change formation for the cup game.

Wilder looks fucked off.

I see zero effort. The least we expect, as Wilder says, is effort. Dog shit again.

I think that it’s ‘conviction’ that we’re missing, rather than effort. They’ve run around a lot but it just looks short when it comes to the belief going into a fifty-fifty or picking a brave pass.

It’s the hottest day of the year and they’re chasing the ball against a World Cup winner, a multiple Premier League winner and a bunch of £30m+ internationals. It’s probably not as easy as you think it is.

£30m+ internationals? If only. Their starting XI cost £444m, with only one of them, de Gea, costing less than £30m (Rashford and Greenwood are homegrown).

Ours, by comparison, cost £12.5m plus whatever we paid for Jack Robinson.

We’re a Dacia Duster and they are a Lamborghini Huracan AND a Ferrari 488 GTB (with enough to spare to buy 8 Dacia Dusters).

We look a little bit like we are in awe of them. Challenges we would have rattled into we are hanging off. Making them look like world beaters

I think there’d be a higher percentage of saves if we just placed a cardboard cutout of Simon Moore in the net.

We are unrecognisable. Like watching a completely different team . Yes , we have injuries and a suspension however where is the “given” effort ?

Just glad we have the points we do other than that we desperately need JOC , Egan back .

Shot on target from McB?

Lundstram has been good today I think. That's about it. McGoldrick too actually.

He seems to be the only one that's recognisable from before the lockdown.

Switched off watching after goal 3. Absolute shocking. At that last drinks break looks like CW just gave in hardly spoke to the players.
Proven the critics right so far one trick pony.

Could be worse least we are not Villa or Norwich but the way we are playing seems to be the way people expected us to play last August.

🤨

Even then when that ball was zipped across the box, why did Moore do some weird little dive onto the ground? I never realised how bad he was.

remember towards the end of last season against Bristol City when Marvin Johnson completely neshed out of a tackle and they went and scored the winner. the last 3 games have been the feeling I had in that moment, stretched across 270 minutes

These players had a chance of getting to the Champions League and dish up these 3 performances and effort. Completely mystifying and annoying

That shot from McBurnie looked like his video of kicking the ball into the playhouse window he posted on socials during lockdown. Tame.

Just toddling off to Google the match stats so that I can justifiably slate Wilder and the players. Hold on.

BTW, where's Ricky. He crawled out of the woodwork and was loving the Blades dodgy form. He was back to his old Herbert form.

Can anyone recall the behind closed doors friendly at the start of the season? We lost by a similar scoreline in a game that wasn’t close. It was held at Carrington. I think coupled with the demands, we might just not turn it on in behind closed doors games when up against really good players. Fans can try and trick their brains into thinking it’s just a usual game, through match sound or whatever, but this might just be a largely mental thing.

Combine the last 3 matches and less see if the smugness holds...

To be fair, i don't think this is as hard a watch as the Newcastle game... so in that sense you could call it an improvement? (maybe)

Ball on the edge of their box, and the defender with it at his feet can stand and think about his options for a few seconds while we stand off.

That's the difference. No-one is getting into anyone.

We desperately need a goal from somewere.

Unfortunately if you have on average 1 SOT on average during a game you are very unlikely to score many.

Very poor although it's an improvement from Newcastle.

CW needs to find an answer from somewere....
