Are you shitting me? We lost the first 2 granted, but the way we came back from that (without spending a lot of money like most nominees)

Just shat on a Villa side worth over 40mill 4-1

Beat Bolton (who's manager is nominated) 3-0

3rd IN the league (ahead of BOLTON who's manager is nominated)

AND WILDER ISN'T THERE?

Am I being unreasonable to be asking why?

Can’t say I’m too upset about this. I would like Wilder to get the recognition he deserves, but let the rest of the league, journos etc keep underestimating us, exactly like happened at the start of last season. I think that brings the best out of Wilder, and the players.

Not sure that's the point though :D

Can’t argue this time there are unbeaten mangers on the list and Parkinson may be a twat but he’s got everyone’s relegation favourites into the top six.

Meh. I think during the entire League One promotion season, Wilder only won it once (he could've won it almost every month to be fair).

Newly promoted Blackburn on 9pts with just 1 defeat is great.

Bolton are achieving a lot more than we are based on pre-season expectations. Then Leeds and Boro are unbeaten and are top 2 and have played each other.

I'd say it's fair.

Who cares. It's both unquantifiable and awarded on the basis of a small panel who may or may not have individual agendas, and secondly it's just an ego trip. I do my job well, very well some would probably say. I don't seek any type of award for doing it, the remuneration package which helps keep my family healthy and happy is sufficient.

Couldn't give a toss tbh. I'm only concerned about the results that CW and his team achieve on the pitch, and those are beyond contestation.

This.

Hilarious how Blackburn winning two games is enough for Mowbray to get a nomination though. Don't buy the "they've only just come up" line seeing as they've got a decent budget, highlighted by spending £7m+ on Brereton from Forest!

Every member of staff at the EFL is a Wednesday fan just like at BBC Radio Sheffield and The Star.

But on the other side of the coin, Blackburn are shit. Mowbray's done well with them tbf so far.

Mind you he's up there with Jimmy Sirrell in the ugly stakes. His face has done more lines than Danielle Westbrook.

They probably didn't even consider him after the first 10 or so games to give everyone else a chance

Because Wilder is a God, is that not enough!??
