He is loved Nige, and he loved people back. There are so many good people on here, but this morning it's hard to look at the metaphorical empty seat.

Omg, I loved the bantz with him. So off the wall, funny and deep. I looked forward to his posts, I am absolutely gutted. So sad , even though we never met I've just lost a friend. Hold you're loved ones a bit closer guys.

It feels like losing a mate. For a guy I’d never met or spoken to that’s as big a tribute as I can think of. His personality came across so vividly that you felt like you knew him.

Fuck. This is hard to process to be honest.

We were partners in crime in the BladesMad era over ten years ago, causing all sorts of mischief.
We had a lot of common ground on many subjects, from football (he was a big Celtic fan also) to music to politics. I never met him in the flesh, but I bloody wish I had.

His surreal, whimsical and sometimes pitch black humour was inimitable. It's a sign of somebody's unique character when their personality can shine through the confines of a computer screen, he was that sort of rare breed.

Sad news indeed. I never met the man but through his posts I got the gist of his character and I thoroughly enjoyed his wit and humour. If things got a bit heated he had the gift of calming it down with a one liner.
RIP Lydon and it was the perfect pseudonym in my minds eye.
