Although few on here will have meet LYDON , it shows the respect we had for him , that his posts , ( some where as mad as a box a frogs ) along with the warmth and gratitude we held him in ,
Seems to have touched so many of us
I must admit I’d wondered where he’d got to in the last while as I hadn’t seen any posts from him ,
But I’d just like to say thank you for the laughter, and what the fuck moments you brought youll be missed fella
RIP mate

Ah, so sorry to hear of LYDON passing to the other side. He was hilarious and cutting, but with a warmth that let you know he was doing it all for a laugh. Like the equivalent of one of the lads ripping the piss out of you then giving you a pat on the back and a wink. As with many others, I never met him, but I know we'd have had a laugh if we crossed paths. Farewell, good buddy!

So Ricky how did you hear about this?
Did you know him well - Can you shed any light on the enigma that was BC/Lydon?

Sorry for the questions, but I’m feeling strangely empty after hearing this.

If you can’t or don’t want to say any more, I quite understand.
Cheers pal.

There's a post on BM.

I never twigged he was Bomber on BM, always liked his posts and humour. Sad loss to the Blades family RIP.

Aw this is really sad news, I am stunned to be honest.

He was a funny bloke with a twisted sense of humour, often made me laugh.

I am guessing he was in my age group, only because he always "liked" my posts about late 70's/early 80's bands and the golden era of The Limit Club on West Street.

RIP Lydon, you will genuinely be missed pal.
