No surprise there; the goalie picks himself whereas most outfield players never know what they have to do to be selected. Wilder surely did not select this team to be so poor in order to come to our rescue with inspired substitutions? In fact, probably not; just selects his teams eccentrically, wanting to seem in control and sadly might well be. How do the S24 pundits always see what he does not? This is so demoralising. Just pick you best lads for a first half lead Chris and learn which pairs work together well. Fans in danger of becoming nervous wrecks.

We've had our good performance in midweek. What else do you expect? Excitement? Wilder will do anything possible to prevent any of that nonsense. Do you really expect Sheffield United players to actually go to work for an hour and a half twice in a week? Did you really expect Wilder to learn anything from either the Portsmouth or Middlesboro games?

The rot has set well and truly into this game now, no changes will make any difference because the rot has already set in. We might even win the game, but it is shit and will be shit for the remainder of the game.
