In fairness several English players (Gaza, Butcher, Wilkins) all said it was a great experience playing in Scotland.

He was a free transfer so can demand high wages...higher than what we offered.
His choice will have been a lower end PL club where he might just be a squad player or play for one of the best supported clubs in Europe.
He’s more likely to be a regular at Rangers with a great chance of winning some honours.….can understand the attraction.

Signing on fee apart, l doubt the lazy twat is much better off wages wise. Neither of the Old Firm pay average PL wages. He’d have been better off sitting on the bench at a mid table PL club if anyone actually wanted him.

Sitting on the bench would probably help the team to be fair.

I disagree. He had one spell of around 20 matches where he wasn't shit.

The rest of his time at the lane was typified by misplaced passes, lack of calmness under pressure and an overinflated opinion of his own ability which led to him doing genuinely baffling things with the ball.

Oh, there were flashes of something (e.g. his late runs into the box, that fantastic pass at Everton), but they was so rare as to be the exception and not the norm.

And then his effort (or lack thereof) just topped it off.

Not only the lack of effort, what really annoys a lot of football supporters in general is a player not making the most of his ability.

We’ve had loads of limited talent players who we have loved because of them making the most of what they have - Monty and Bobby Booker to name a couple.

Lundstram obviously has some good attributes, as shown in his purple patch first season back in the Prem, but just couldn’t be arsed to apply himself when the team needed it when we were struggling at the foot of the table. That’s what pissed me off !!
