Why ? The offer he turned down from us must surely have been in that ball park28k a week???
Struggling to believe that but if true, his kitbag wants SWAG on the side
Based on the finances of the Glasgow clubs, I'm surprised they can pay that for someone of his calibre (or lack of it).Why ? The offer he turned down from us must surely have been in that ball park
He’ll have gone in there on a decent wedge as a first team player big coup acquisitions from a prem club. Also his agent will have entered negotiations by saying “this is what’s on the table from Sheffield United we want x for him to move” he was negotiating the move from a position of strength. The fact they signed him is a massive failure for their scouting team because he’s shite but I’m not surprised they’re paying him good money to be shite.Based on the finances of the Glasgow clubs, I'm surprised they can pay that for someone of his calibre (or lack of it).
How much do their match winners earn?
I often think my urge and will for it to go spectacularly wrong at Rangers is exactly that. But I'm going to go with no, it is not bitter in the slightest. The contempt he showed for our club and the performances. Add to that, his smugness and unwillingness to commit to the club. It really does make me chuckle seeing the Rangers fans see exactly how piss poor he is. He'll be in league one before we know it. Low end championship side at best could be his level.Nah, we're just bitter.

So I look forward to keeping an eye on this thread throughout the season.
Amen to thatI was being sarcastic. I'm not bitter, I didn't want him to sign anyway, I'm angry at, as you say, the contempt he showed for us. So I happily receive any reports of him being dogshit. Proves us all right.
I’d be very surprised if there are many first team regulars in any PL team earning less than £30k a week. It makes me wonder if Wilder was fairly sure that his purple patch was exactly that and just wouldn’t offer him any more than a squad player’s wage. I suspect if it hadn’t have been for Berge’s injury, we wouldn’t have seen that much of him. We should probably have tried to get rid to raise a bit of money for a replacement but Covid and the uncertainty messed up the transfer market a bit last season (for example, I think if it hadn’t been for Covid we’d have been able to get our money back on Robinson quite easily). Why ? I agree completely I’m just happy he didn’t sign and is someone else’s problemI’d be very surprised if there are many first team regulars in any PL team earning less than £30k a week. Having watched him for Rangers today, I can see why our two managers last season didn’t see him as not putting the effort in, it just seems to be how he plays, I’m sure he was trying today but he still didn’t look like he was.

I think our scouting team has a few questions to answer to when you look at our strikers. He’ll have gone in there on a decent wedge as a first team player big coup acquisitions from a prem club. Meh maybe I’m not prepared to give up on any of them other than Burke at this stage we’ll see come the end of this season.I think our scouting team has a few questions to answer to when you look at our strikers.
Again posted on a similar thread. Week in week out he put a poor performance in. It was there for all to see. He didn't have a couple of good games then put his feet up for a game and so mislead the manager that he gave a shit. He was consistently bad but still got picked. So who's ultimately at fault here the player who gave the impression he doesn't care and demonstrates it everyweek or the manager who consistently picks him a head of other players. Just maybe lundstram is playing to the best of his ability and as such is just not good enough and shouldn't have been selected.
Alternatively he could be a wage stealing feckless waster.
I was thinking that as I wrote my post.I agree completely I’m just happy he didn’t sign and is someone else’s problem
He did similar today though, in a team he wants to play for and should be desperate to impress. I think he’s just a bit slow of thought and doesn’t see the danger quick enough. I agree that towards the end he was trying not to get injured. Glad he’s gone too.Not sure that he looked like he was trying when he didn't bother tracking his man for the winning goal.... Or the countless times that he simply didn't looked bothered whilst playing for us I.e. Our goal at Elland Road where he had started to turn back instead of busting a gut to get into position for a rebound, or the same game where he gave the ball away and watched his teammates hare back to try and defend after he had sloppily given the ball away before he trotted back.
Dont confuse lack of ability (i agree he isn't very good at football) with a lack of effort. He was a feckless waster who didn't give a toss and was jogging around and passing sideways and backwards to keep his stats decent. He offered nothing but negativity and was allowed to take the piss by our management team at the time. He's a lazy twat.
Sorry it was both , apart from a 4 month spell when Patrick Swayze occupied his body (or was it Bryan Robson ?)The issue with Lundstram is not that he was shit: it was the lack of effort.
