Sounds like the lad has had the dream start with Rangers.

That first post could have been.any Sheffield united game last season
Just missing the next sentence fuming at his jogging back into view just as the other team score and his pointing at people after he just gave the ball away

Lunny, Wilder, Lunny, Wilder ad nauseum

Yesterday's men.
No one thinks it strange that we remember the 1970/71 promotion team for the joy it brought or any other significant parts of our history.
So why would it be strange to remember the biggest cunt that ever stole the last year of his wages from us + helped to stink out the dressing room + negatively influence a diabolical season , from which we are mentally trying to recover ?
And why would it be strange to remember a manager who is a dyed-in-the-wool Blade who performed miracles for us over 4 seasons , only to then appear to become mentally ill , go against his own principles + retain/play the above mentioned cunt ?
Whilst sleepwalking to relegation + publicly calling his own players "Championship standard" when they had finished 9th in the PL - maybe as a desperate excuse for his own transfer mistakes + refusal to change his system ?

Rangers think they've played a blinder getting LunnyCunt on a free - naturally we want to see the look on their faces when the truth dawns on them.

No interest in Lunscunt or what he does anymore
Thankfully his abortion like performances will no longer be seen in our colours anymore

Mate of mine few years ago split up from his bird, but acrimonious, as you do… well she paid his bond and first months rent to fuck off to be honest

Anyway every time we went out he’d want to synchronise our bars with where he though she’d be. In mid week he’d park up outside her house to see if/with who she went out

When she got a new bloke, (reckon they overlapped but didn’t tell him that), he would try to figure out where they would be, turn up, and then message me starting his text “you’ll never guess what that slags…..”

Eventually I asked him why he was so still interested in, if she is, as he puts it, “a slag”

All bit weird innit…….
Indeed. I think there are laws against that kind of behaviour!

It's human nature I'm afraid. Like an ex or a company you have worked for who then gives you the elbow, you seem to get some sort of satisfaction in seeing them fail. I'm quite a placid guy, but I did take enjoyment in reading the thread, 'Lundstram & Arfield' on www.followfollow.com last night.
For the sake of balance, there are some fans who are giving him the benefit of the doubt, but not for long as it seems.

Good to see that the slavering Glaswegians are as good at spelling his name as our fans were.

We don't know all the in's and out's of Lundstrams exit, we should leave him to it. He had a good 2/3 of a season for us and popped up with some important goals.

However it would seem that whatever deal he was offered 18months ago he didn't like and Wilder didn't feel he was important enough to renegotiate any further.
Think Wilder expected he would eventually decide to sign, but reckon Lundstram and his agent started to think he could have suitors in some PL clubs and up in Scotland, so he let his contract run down. Do think at the start of the season he was still fairly committed but by Christmas time his eye's were on not getting injured. Even if this wasn't intentional.
He's ended up at Rangers, leave him be. We've currently still got Sander let's focus on that!

I assumed he’d been tapped up and had agreed a deal in principle with someone. I fully expected him to go to somewhere like Burnley on £50k+.
I think he’ll do alright at Rangers. Making your debut away to Malmö is different from playing against St Mirren etc once you’ve settled in.

Hopefully this obsessiveness will stop after Saturday and we can concentrate on the present. We do seem a bitter old bunch tbh. If he cared a jot, he'd probably laugh at us even more.

He doesn't live in my head in fact football as it is today doesn't live in my head but I'm interested to see why he thought the grass was greener somewhere else when he'd been a lower league journeyman with six decent months to his name,I'll keep watching to see how he goes.

I think he’s a bit pre-occupied with destroying his Rangers career before it’s even started to be honest with you

Looks like Lunny's picked up where he left off, neshing shots, slow etc. It's a breath of fresh air not to see him in the team this season. One of life's mysteries why CW kept faith in him.

I found it strange that Wilder fired Duffy off as soon as he made any noises about an improved contract, but kept Lundstram in the team when he did much the same. Although having some miles on the clock and probably not going to play full/all matches, Duffy could do things to influence and change the game complementing the way we played. Whereas Lundstram? Well he couldn't find his own arse using both hands.....

probably because we had assembled a squad that had only fit midfielders in it to be honest… didn’t leave himself any other options

Lundstram’s contract was coming to an end, and we couldn’t agree terms for a new deal. Duffy was halfway through his deal but wanted to renegotiate it halfway through.

There were some similarities although Duffy was never going to play in the Prem due to his ability and CW's planned change of formation.

CW obviously rated Lundstram and hoped/expected him to sign. His refusal to drop him when his performances dropped significantly, I presume due to lack of alternative options at RCM, was mystifying
