Just a hunch. Been playing 12 years, had a few clubs and never signed for anyone North of Stevanage.

Don't need to know him perosnally to spot a trend.

Spot a trend or have a guess...

How many teams in the north have offered him PL football or even had a bit accepted?

You could be right, but the prem is a massive attraction for players, as it is for us fans. I'd be very surprised if anyone turned down a chance in the prem, if the only other option is playing in the championship.

I can image them costing £19m
But I cant see that being the right split, Mcburnie seems a but overpriced and Freeman looks a bit cheap.
Wilder probably knows that as well, realistically Freeman’s half price, McBurnies probably 10-20% overpriced, but he knows Swansea aren’t short of cash after selling James to Man Utd

Brexit James Rodriguez, Gerrimin! Always kept an eye on him since he was at Stevenage and it's also positive as his best football was played in a "free-roam" attacking midfield postion in a 3-5-2 at Bristol City. One of the few I see as a possible heir to Lord Duffy!

Freeman @ £4m is about right imo

I'm hoping McBurnie, if that figure quoted is correct, that it's £10m fee and £5m based on add ons like staying up, appearances etc

I didn't see the add on part.
If he has to score over 10 goals or even keep us up then that would be worth a hell of a lot more than £5m.

These two would be cracking signings. Be interested to see how these play out.

I'd suggest £4m isn't enough, and £15m is paying over the odds.

£5m and £8m would be more realistic imo.

ive liked freeman since 2012 in his Stevenage days. would be delighted

Wilders already said we won't change our football, and I believe him.

its the only way we have a chance of survival because like fulham. gets promoted then got rid of the players manager & style. that got promoted. unsurprisingly where cannon fodder

If we sold a 23 year old striker that just scored 22 goals in the Championship for £8m there would be a riot on here. £12m is more realistic in my view.

Don't think Dack will be going anywhere, can see Blackburn setting such a ridiculous price that no bugger will bother (unless Villa want him). Easy £12m for Dack I'd wager, wouldn't be surprised at £20m.

Would be happy with this business though.

Then maybe try and get Bowen from Hull. They don't have a manager, maybe they won't notice.

Agree and don't think the overall 3-5-2 formation will change that often but that said, I think we'll see a flat mid 3 more often next season, especially in away games and against the top sides. McGoldrick's (and Robinson's should he sign) ability to drop deeper to link play will hopefully negate the risk of the front 2 becoming isolated.

Dack @ £8m is better value that Freeman @ £4m (IMO)

I’d prefer Dack too.

Are we just making up values of players who are rated by their clubs at £18mil?
If that's the case, I'd prefer Gini Wijnaldum at £8mil than Freeman at £4mil. Or maybe Isco, also at £8mil. Or what about Callum Hudson Odoi, also for £8mil?

Looks promising. CW was after him for a while and would be nice and cheap for us also.

Mcburnie for 15m is a good bit of business he has pace and is a big size.

2 quality players for under 20m sounds like a CW deal to me.

I didn’t say anything about values. I’m just saying I’d rather have Dack than Freeman.

I think a lot of people would. Not sure where the £12mil difference in valuation between what t'old Bruce has said and Blackburn's actual valuation of him has come from though. Dack at 18 or Freeman at 4, no brainer.

No sire. Just going along with what's reported in the press. Is that OK with you?

Rumour mill may as well close now if its reight. That's all the budget gone and its gonna be a long drag to start of season now ffs
