Its open now until March 24th, when we will announce we are hoping to add to the squad (Dan Burn), after a day of phone calls, and working hard behind the scenes, Adkins will say it would have been nice to add some quality, but he is happy with the squad, and recruitment (Dan Burn), will continue in the summer.

I believe that we pulled the plug on permanent deals when it became apparent that we could no longer make the top two.
In a similar vein we will not add anyone else to the squad unless it is felt that we have a chance of the play offs.

This is a fair point.

What I do not understand is why the loan can't simply be until the end of the season at this point. The rule is foolish (having said that, if I were in charge I'd eliminate loans anyway).

Loans can be brought in with a view to buy we have done it before ,Howard from Barnsley and Horsefield from WBA both deals though
Didn't produce what we were looking for.Especially the Horsefield one,that was Warnock biggest mistake on transfers a million quid
spent on him and he was dire, at least we havn't signed Sammon .I don't aggree with the abuse he's getting (sat) but he reminds me
